237 Discovering and Living Our Sexuality - A Conversation

237 Discovering and Living Our Sexuality - A Conversation
In honor of Pride month here in the US, I wanted to bring you a genuine conversation with a number of dear friends of mine about our own discoveries about our places in the LGBTQIA+ universe. We’re having a frank, open discussion about our experiences, our joys, our struggles, and so much more. Regardless of how you (or those in your lives) identify, these issues touch all of us, and I want to help bring greater understanding to my community and to all those whose lives you touch. I’m joined by three amazing guests – not “experts” per se, simply real people: Kelly Mahalak, Cassandra Coghill, and Chivas Sandage – as we dive into: Our own journeys to self-discoveryThe terms we use to describe ourselves, and the challenges in using these termsCompulsory heterosexualityComing out is not a one-time thingThe privilege and curse of “passing”The many joys in our lives related to our queerness Laughter. Tears. Deep truths. This conversation has it all!!! About Cassandra A. Coghill I am Cassandra A. Coghill, a Relationship Alchemist and Intimacy Guide. I am a healer, a priestess, and a witch. I have a Bachelor's degree in Women and Gender Studies, with a minor in Human Development and Family Science, from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. (Go Bison!)  While attending college, I became a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and gave birth to my first child. While pregnant with my second child, I was initiated onto the path of priestesshood at the Goddess Temple of Ashland, Oregon. I am also an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. A powerful inner call to understand the mysteries of life lead me into the study of metaphysics and the occult from a young age. I have been a practicing solitary white witch for the past 11 years. I have studied the Tarot since 2014 and consult it and other oracles for myself and my clients regularly. I work with the so-called “classical” or “Western” elements of Air, Water, Fire and Earth in nearly everything I do. My love for the so-called “Eastern” traditions runs deep (I’ve studied yoga, tantra, ayurveda, traditional chinese medicine, feng shui and Buddhist philosophy informally but extensively); but, as a person of predominantly British ancestry, the deepest and most powerful magick I bring forth tends to be drawn from ancient, indigenous European traditions, rituals, symbologies and myths. I commune with angels, dance with faeries and sing the songs of my ancestors regularly.” To learn more about and follow Cassandra: infinitegenesis.com/bio-links Facebook.com/Cassandra.coghill.37 Instagram.com/Cassandra.coghill About Chivas Sandage Chivas Sandage teaches women’s writing workshops on Zoom and also works privately as a coach, editor, and consultant. 233 Helping Women Make a Unique Life Pivot with Dominique Velasquez

233 Helping Women Make a Unique Life Pivot with Dominique Velasquez
You ever have that feeling that you should be happier than you are? Maybe you think that in general, things are going pretty OK in your life, and for sure a lot of people have it worse than you do, and yet you feel like you should be happier? You wonder what’s wrong with you? I’ll out myself and say that yes, I’ve been there many times in my life. If this at all resonates for you, then I’ve got the best guest for you! Today I’m sitting down with Dominique Velasquez to talk about: The guilt that comes from feeling that you have no good reason to be anxious or unhappyThe search for external validationHer struggles with opioidsHer amazing recovery (and how my podcast helped!!! – I am so grateful to know this!!!)Her key understanding that the problem is not the circumstance in which we find ourselves, it’s… (you’ll have to listen to hear the rest!)The devastating effect of shameHow the tools that Dominique has developed help other women to feel fulfilled and whole insideDominique’s PIVOTT program About Dominique Velasquez I spent my life trying to prove my worth by achieving things. However, there was no achievement big enough to fill the hole I had in my heart. I kept feeling empty like something was missing, and I just could not figure out why. I’d smile and put on a happy face to the world, but internally I was dying. In 2010 I got diagnosed with endometriosis, & quickly found myself fully addicted to opiates in desperation to numb the pain. At that time in my life, I looked to have it all, but I felt empty & unfulfilled! Constantly thinking “What is wrong with me?” I was dripping in shame from living a double life, pretending to be fine. The shame of being found out stopped me from seeking the treatment that I desperately wanted. I truly believed that my worth came from outside of me. Then I discovered self-development, and my life took a 180-degree pivot. I quickly learned that everything I needed was inside me and that I am the creator of my life. My purpose is to guide women in discovering that everything they need is inside them. 232 VISIONARY Masterclass
Apr 20 2023
232 VISIONARY Masterclass
I didn’t build my business on social media - I built it by speaking on stages. My big dream was to be impactful like Oprah, and though I had no mentor, I figured it out. I spoke at AVON and for Victoria’s Secret execs. For Capital One and at Women’s conferences.  I LOVED IT! I made an impact, I made money, AND, nearly every time I spoke, I got clients! But then… I kept seeing all of these other coaches making $1 Million in 6 months! I felt so inadequate. Ads started screaming at me on Facebook: Get 10,000 followers! Get my cash coach system! My brain start obsessing about social media posts and (ugh -) Likes. I felt like a loser and even though my business did “well” I felt rotten. When companies shut down during the pandemic, speaking was off the table - So I hired an expensive coach who got me to raise my prices. It was fun and I was successful, but I was still anxious. My mind dreaded the social media hustle. I felt bored of all the coaching. And empty. I got into this to teach Happiness, but I was unhappy. So I hit the RESET button. I looked deep within and remembered: Carin - you’re here to move the masses. I did not get into this to coach a few. I did not get into this to obsessively feel defeated against algorithms.  I did not get into this to SELL! SELL! SELL! I’m here for massive impact. I’m here to start a Revolution. Can you relate? Does this resonate? If so, then stick around, because this episode is the audio from my VISIONARY MasterClass, in which I spilled the beans on: How I created a REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT.How I created a paid speaking bizWhat I’ve learned so you do it better In the VISIONARY Masterclass, you'll learn: The #1 Thing Killing Women Entrepreneurs’ Spirits and Ability to ImpactMy 4 Step ROCKSTAR PlanThe EXACT steps I took to speak to tens of thousands of people, to be on national radio, and to have a podcast in the top 20 for mental health in 30+ countriesHow to create a business that is full of EASE, is FUN, and FLOWS clients to you You will walk away feeling EXCITED about your work again, HOPEFUL about possibilities, and READY with a plan of ACTION to ROCK your MISSION!!!
