'Fallout' TV Series (2024) Spoiler Free Review

'Fallout' TV Series (2024) Spoiler Free Review
'Fallout' TV Series (2024) Spoiler Free Review by Logan, Scotty, Andy, and guest Steven Walden. This clip is from the full Mostly Superheroes episode linked below:  https://mostlysuperheroes.com/season-5/steven-walden-rebels-rogues-may-the-4th   Here is summary of the "Fallout" TV Series (2024) along with information about the games it's based on:  Title: Fallout (American TV series) Premise: Set in an alternate version of the United States, the series follows the aftermath of a nuclear exchange that occurred after World War II. The story takes place 200 years after the doomsday, where the descendants of those who sought refuge in luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated wasteland. Genre: Action, Black comedy, Drama, Post-apocalyptic, Satire, Science fiction, Western Creators: Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet Cast: Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins Premiere Date: April 10, 2024 Plot Summary: In the year 2296, a young woman named Lucy leaves her home in Vault 33 to venture into the dangerously unforgiving wasteland of a devastated Los Angeles. Her mission: to find her kidnapped father. Along the way, she encounters a Brotherhood of Steel squire and a ghoul bounty hunter, each with their own mysterious pasts and agendas. Game Origins: The series is based on the iconic role-playing video game franchise created by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky. It draws inspiration from the Fallout games, which are set in a retrofuturistic universe where nuclear technology led to both societal collapse and bizarre mutations. Notably, the series continues game storylines and factions, such as the Brotherhood of Steel. Amazon Prime Video: Amazon purchased the rights to produce this live-action adaptation in 2020, and the series was officially announced in July of the same year. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's Kilter Films collaborated with Bethesda Game Studios for production. Todd Howard, the producer behind various games in the Fallout series, also joined as an executive producer. Critical Reception: The series received generally positive reviews, and it was renewed for a second season later in the same month.  For more details, you can check out the Wikipedia page or visit the IMDb page. Gary Mullen Creator of "One Night of Queen"
Apr 12 2024
Gary Mullen Creator of "One Night of Queen"
Queen's Legacy Lives On  Join hosts Logan, Andy, Scotty, and Sam the Sleeper as they dive into a captivating conversation with the legendary Gary Mullen, creator of "One Night of Queen." 🎸👑  https://mostlysuperheroes.com/season-5/gary-mullen-creator-of-one-night-of-queen   Introduction: The Man Behind the Music  From the streets of Glasgow, Scotland, emerges Gary Mullen—a name synonymous with rock 'n' roll magic.   🌟 Career - The Show  Gary's journey began with a victory on the iconic TV show "Stars In Their Eyes" back in 2000. His electrifying performance as Freddie Mercury left an indelible mark, earning him the most votes in the show's history. Brian May himself acknowledged the uncanny resemblance, writing, "...you certainly share with Freddie more than a likeness." After a successful solo stint, Gary teamed up with guitarist Davie Brockett to form "The Works" in 2002. Together, they birthed the sensational spectacle known as "One Night of Queen." Imagine playing to thousands of fans worldwide, filling arenas just like the legendary Queen. Hyde Park witnessed their grandeur, hosting over 50,000 fervent souls. By 2022, "One Night of Queen" had etched its name as one of the biggest tribute acts globally. In France, they reign supreme, selling a staggering 250,000 tickets—officially the most successful tribute band ever. Gary's childhood dream? Simple: "I want to be Freddie Mercury." And he's living that dream, paying homage to Queen's iconic "The Works Tour" on its 40th anniversary. Expect stage accuracy, electrifying costumes, and a setlist that echoes through time.  🌠 Personal Universe  Beyond the spotlight, Gary's heart beats for superheroes. Superman, Batman, and the Avengers—his cinematic companions. His first movie theater experience? "Superman: The Movie." Movies? A passion. Star Wars, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone—these celluloid legends fuel his imagination. TV nostalgia? Gary's got it covered. From "Doctor Who" (hello, Matt Smith!) to '80s classics like "The A-Team," "The Incredible Hulk," "Knight Rider," and both "Star Trek" generations.. And then, destiny knocked. Brian May invited him backstage during a tour with Paul Rodgers—a moment etched in stardust.  🔮 Three Questions for Gary  "Gary, having embodied Freddie Mercury on stage for so many years, what's the most profound lesson you've learned from his life or music that you apply to your own?" "Share a behind-the-scenes moment that felt like a full-circle experience, considering your childhood dream of being Freddie Mercury." 🎯 Trivia Time   Trivia question: What was Queen's original name before they ascended to fame? We answer his question during this episode!  Submit the correct answer by messaging us on Instagram, emailing logan@mostlysuperheroes.com, or by calling or texting 754-CALL-LOG.  Tune in to Mostly Superheroes—the podcast where legends meet reality.   Gary Mullen's story awaits, wrapped in rock anthems and stardust. 🎙️✨  A portion of the copy above was written using AI tool Microsoft Copilot.  Mostly Superheroes is an independent podcast owned and operated by Carrogan Studios in St. Louis Missouri.   Hosted by Logan Janis, Andy Hunn, Scott Swanguarim  Creative by Carrie Clark Design  Music by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/   Artist: http://audionautix.com/   Funded in part by Paying Patrons – Early, Ad-Free, and Exclusive Episodes  Funded in part by our Sponsors.   https://mostlysuperheroes.com/   ©2024 Carrogan Ventures, LLC
