The elder one was called Esau, who enjoyed outdoor activities and excelled as a hunter. The younger one was Jacob, who preferred staying quietly at home. Esau didn't value the birthright, but Jacob highly esteemed it.

Abraham’s servant prayed to have success in finding a suitable wife, and God directed his quest. When he was forty, Isaac married his cousin Rebekah
