After about 4 months, I have finally recorded a new mix, another in my series of "personal favorites". For those who have been following me for awhile, you will notice that I have used many, if not most, of these tracks before, and that is why I call them favorites. The difference is the sequence and other tracks that are contained in the mix. I am always aiming to tell a story and create an emotion. With all the chaos taking place on this planet, especially in the past year and a half, I am continuing to focus on positive, uplifting music. I do believe our planet is going through a great awakening which will lead us into a much better existence. No other performer has had more of an influence on me than the QUEEN OF DISCO. I was shocked when she passes away on 5/17/12. It's hard for me to believe in a few days it will be 7 years since her passing. She left behind such a massive legacy of her work which I still continue to enjoy and listen to. This is by far my most popular Podcast Mix of all time (so far). I originally posted it on New Years 2012 and I decided to re-post for this New Years 2018 (that still sounds weird to me). This brings me back to a really fun time for music in the early/mid Nineties. I came up with the title as a sort of play on the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!" from 1970 about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Basically the word conveyed the meaning of "attack" and I think Techno from that time period was a type of aural attack that had an amazing way of getting people to move on the dance floor. I was going to record a BEE GEES TRIBUTE MIX after the recent passing of Maurice Gibb, but, before I could, I received this wonderful tribute mix through one of the dj sites I am a member of. Since it was licensed to be used on radio shows and podcasts, I decided to share this mix with all of you.
