It's the hottest dance style in the world today. I started teaching heels classes in 2010 and have had a front row seat, along with the world, to its evolution. Too often I find myself in conversations about where it all began, and the current state of heels classes all over the world, and what we really do gain from it all.

Malcolm Gladwell suggests that not everyone is given equal opportunities and if we all were … well life would be a little different. It's not the whole story, but here's a quick look at how a little girl from the south of Cameroon ended up in Texas running a handful of businesses for fun. And the "village" that helped to make her who she is today.
