Shifting & Signing Off - Let's Seek Together!
I'm thrilled to share with you a new chapter in my journey. After years of chasing external achievements, I've realized that real growth comes from within. Despite my accomplishments in the tech industry, authoring books, and researching women in the workplace, I found myself yearning for something more profound, more meaningful.I hit a personal wall, and it led me to a path of self-discovery and seeking. This journey has been so transformative that I've penned down my experiences and key findings in a new book. One of the most significant revelations was the "I should" mindset. It's a trap that many of us fall into, but the real magic happens when we align our time and actions with our true goals. And now, I'm excited to announce my new podcast and community, "Together We Seek." It's a space where we can continue this journey of self-discovery together, learning from each other's experiences and growing as a collective.I'm incredibly grateful for your support and would love to personally chat with anyone interested in discussing this further. So, come join me, let's seek together. You can find me at www.TogetherWeSeek.Online where I hope you join the live discussions and community!Thank you for joining me ~ here are some other resources for you!JJ's new book Seeking: https://www.amazon.com/Seeking-Findings-Energy-Sidestep-Self-Doubts/dp/B0BKQCWJ62Join me live in my energy community: https://www.togetherweseek.online/Visit my website for retreats and free resources: https://jjdigeronimo.com/My energy podcast Together We Seek: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1923001

ERGs - Enhance the Impact of Women at Work with Laura Weldy
ERGs - Enhance the Impact of Women at Work with Laura Weldy We've seen the representation of women in leadership roles across all industries decline since the pandemic began, and women focused ERG's provide a great jumping off point for who and how to grow in house leaders. In fact, women's focused employee resource groups are a widely underleveraged opportunity for many companies to deepen their leadership pipelines and develop some of the most high potential, most culturally engaged employees in the company. By strengthening the structural support for these groups, allocating time and opportunities for group activities, gamifying the membership process and even devising in house training programs based on the group needs, there is an opportunity to allow new leaders to step up and shine.Join me as I chat with Laura Weldy.  A Women’s Leadership & Career Success coach, and an unapologetic champion for women seeking to build a career & life they love. After struggling with burnout, impostor syndrome and uncertainty in her own career, Laura decided to eliminate these issues for other career women. These days, she uses her Personal Power Code personality assessment to help ambitious career women around the world put a vocabulary to their own worth in the workplace. She pairs this with her expertise as a masterful certified coach & NLP practitioner to create customized roadmaps for her clients to go from overlooked and overworked in the ‘Pre-Suite’ to celebrated and confident in the C-Suite as intuitive and authentic leaders at all levels.Laura's Website: https://lauraweldy.com/Thank you for joining me ~ here are some other resources for you!JJ's new book Seeking: https://www.amazon.com/Seeking-Findings-Energy-Sidestep-Self-Doubts/dp/B0BKQCWJ62Join me live in my energy community: https://www.togetherweseek.online/Visit my website for retreats and free resources: https://jjdigeronimo.com/My energy podcast Together We Seek: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1923001

3 Reasons You Need to Reframe Your Self Talk with Kelli Thompson

3 Reasons You Need to Reframe Your Self Talk with Kelli Thompson
It Pays To Be Yourself: Reframing Your "Flaws" Into "Gifts" Do you ever hold back because you’ve been told you were too bossy, sensitive, direct, or emotional at work? Women leaders often get these labels even though they exhibit similar behaviors to their male counterparts. What women have been told is “unlikeable” about them can create self-doubt, and keep them from conforming to someone else’s leadership style. However, what if your “flaws” are actually your best leadership gift? When you spend your time and energy trying to conform to someone else’s leadership style, you give your power away. In fact, it pays to be yourself. According to Francesca Gino at Harvard, she found that people who behaved authentically (vs catering to what they thought people wanted) were 26% more likely to be hired. I'll help you own what's unique about you and use these skills to make an impact. You'll learn how to blend this gift with your leadership values to lead with more confidence and create a career you love.  What will the listener take away? 1. Identify the gift you've been hiding because you've been told you're "too much" and how that impacts your energy 2. Learn how to reframe your flaws into gifts so you can stop hiding and speak up at work 3. Uncover situations that call for your unique approach and how to show up fully in those moments 4. If time, a model for speaking up and advocating at work Kelli Thompson is a women’s leadership coach and speaker who helps women advance to the rooms where decisions are made. She has coached and trained hundreds of women to trust themselves, lead with more confidence, and create a career they love. She is the founder of the Clarity & Confidence Women's Leadership Program, and a Stevie Award winner for Women in Business—Coach of the Year. Women & Leadership Is What Called Me to Write Book #3: Seeking
When nudged by the Universe to write this book, my initial response was I’m not ready. That was followed with I still have more to learn. Yet after each women’s event where I was invited to present, I would share some of these insights and exercises, and the noticeable interest was reassuring, validating that women were ready to talk more about their self-doubts and fears. They were ready to be more vulnerable and more vocal about what they needed and what they desired. I saw this engagement as permission to share my journey, even if it expanded beyond career books, skill assessments, and emotional intelligence tests. The conversations and experiences in these pages go beyond the professional and corporate strategies I have previously shared with my readers and communities. So, if you are familiar with my work, you may initially be surprised, yet I have found that I needed to go beyond the traditional methods of leadership for women to understand my internal barriers and gain new levels of insight. Micro-Dosing Bravery to Expand Your Resilience with Dr. Kristen Lee

Micro-Dosing Bravery to Expand Your Resilience with Dr. Kristen Lee
There have been so many moments in my career where I could have used a bit of courage, or a “microdose” of bravery. And to be honest, I wish I would have known this week’s guest in those moments. I’m chatting with Dr. Kristen Lee, head of the Behavior Science Program at Northeastern University and author of Worth the Risk. In this week’s episode of Career Strategies for Women that Work, Dr. Lee is sharing how to create small acts of bravery and connection to regain self-confidence and the resilience we need to live full and meaningful lives. This episode includes:** Understanding Risk** Small steps to Microdosing Bravery** Ways to Grow ResilienceAs a human resilience researcher and as a psychotherapist Dr. Lee was curious about resilience—what contributes towards it, what allows us to take risks, what contributes to it. And as someone with a lived experience with anxiety and perfectionism, she realized she needed to take the risk of being more explicit around the dual narrative of her story. “And that was a risk, for me, worth taking,” Dr. Lee says, “to become more comfortable with the uncomfortable in my own story to embrace that duality and then to share it more explicitly and wholeheartedly with the world.”Dr. Lee’s journey is so beautiful and the authenticity that shines through her book, Worth the Risk, she is truly a reflection of her own resilience and bravery. Thank you for joining me ~ here are some other resources for you!JJ's new book Seeking: https://www.amazon.com/Seeking-Findings-Energy-Sidestep-Self-Doubts/dp/B0BKQCWJ62Join me live in my energy community: https://www.togetherweseek.online/Visit my website for retreats and free resources: https://jjdigeronimo.com/My energy podcast Together We Seek: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1923001
