The current iteration of “The Drive” is hosted by Zach Bye, who brings years of radio experience and unmatched authenticity to the program each day. His partner, Phillip Lindsay, is the embodiment of our city. Phil grew up in Denver, starring at running back for Denver South High School. He went on to break records at the University of Colorado, before becoming a Pro Bowler with the Denver Broncos. Phil’s energy and enthusiasm matched with Zach’s passion and precision creates Denver’s can’t miss show on your drive home, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekday afternoons!

Our Editor's Take

The Drive is a sports talk radio podcast out of Denver. The hosts of the show are Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay. Zach has been a radio announcer and commentator since his college days. Phillip was a running back for the Colorado Buffaloes and the Denver Broncos before joining Zach behind the mic. Both Phillip and Zach are native Coloradans.

Every weekday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Zach and Phillip cohost The Drive on 104.3 The Fan in Denver. For those who can't tune in during that time, the show is also available in podcast form. Listening is a great way to stay informed on what's going on in the world of sports.

There are many regular contributors and guests on The Drive. Keenan Reynolds was a quarterback for Navy. The cohosts have him on the show in time for the Army-Navy game. Ross Tucker was a guard/center during his NFL career. He is now a sports analyst for CBS. Mike Klis is a Denver-based sports reporter. He explains the importance of George Paton's report to the Washington Post.

It makes sense that Colorado sports teams get a lot of coverage on The Drive. The hosts follow the Denver Nuggets' season and Nikola Jokic's achievements. They try to understand Coach Prime's draft picks. There are plenty of conversations about Russell Wilson, the Broncos' favorite player.

On Fridays, it's time for trivia on The Drive. Fans call in to answer questions from the cohosts. Players who get the right answers to three consecutive questions win a tour of the studio. What athlete won the Heisman trophy in 1993? Who is the oldest player to ever win the NBA finals MVP at 38 years old? The questions are challenging, but not impossible for sports fans.
