The Horror Movie Club podcast reviews scary films. Hosts Brian and Ashvin are avid horror fans. They started a podcast to share their passion with the film community. Each week, they choose a different horror film to watch. This pair isn't fussy when it comes to budgets or cast members. They are happy to watch everything from B-movies to big-budget winners. After each film, Brian and Ashvin call each other and record their reviews.

One podcast episode reviews 2023's The Exorcist: Believer. The duo begins with a spoiler-free recap, followed by a more detailed review. This movie is a supernatural horror directed by David Gordon Green and is a direct sequel to the 1973 film. In the movie, two girls attempt to connect with spirits, jeopardizing their souls. Once again, it's up to the church to rescue them. The hosts discuss how the original 1973 movie is one of the best regarded of its genre. The pair aren't as passionate about the franchise as most of their listeners. Brian and Ashvin discuss the differences and similarities between the two films. As with every movie, they then rate it between zero and five.

In another podcast episode, the pair review Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday. The hosts deem it the "most bonkers" film in the Friday the 13th franchise. Jason Goes to Hell is a slasher film directed by Adam Marcus. Brian explains that the resurrection of Jason happens in a new and novel way here. They discuss their feelings about the franchise and their plan to re-watch it again as soon as they've finished.

Horror Movie Club is a movie review podcast dedicated to the horror film genre. Brian and Ashvin review everything from 2020s fare like Saw X and The Nun II to the '90s classic Bride of Chucky. Plus, this couldn't be a horror film club without mentioning iconic '80s films, including Evil Dead. They also discuss newer films like Lisa Frankenstein. New episodes drop weekly.
