275: Is freelancing sustainable as a long term career?
Hey there! Happy Monday! On today's episode, I'm answering a question I get asked from time to time: Is freelancing sustainable as a long-term career? Maybe you're interested in the flexibility and freedom that comes along with freelancing, but you're concerned about the stability and longevity of it. You're wondering if freelancing is just a fad or a trend. Let's dive in and chat about that! First, yes, you can sustain a freelance career for the long haul. You can sustain it, maintain it, and even grow it past your financial goals. There are so many businesses that need the support of freelancers. Just as an example, think of your nearest shopping center. There are probably a handful of businesses in it. Chances are those businesses all need the same basic things. They need marketing help, bookkeeping help, admin help, copywriting help, web help, tech support, and on and on. There are so many things that those businesses need help with that they either don't know how to do, don't have the desire to learn it, or don't have the time to do it. So instead of just staying stagnant, tons and tons of those businesses are hiring freelancers to help them. I used a local brick-and-mortar shopping center in that example, but that's just one example. There are small businesses, corporate businesses, and online businesses all needing support.Check out the show notes for more information including links and resources mentioned in today’s episode!SHOW NOTES: www.micalaquinn.com/episode275Thanks for listening!
