Episode 290: Mind Over Matter … It’s All in Your Mind!!
Did you know that whatever you hold in your mind will tend to occur in your life? If you continue to believe as you have always believed, you will continue to act as you have always acted, and you will continue to get what you have always gotten. Therefore … If you want different results in your life, your work, or relationships all you have to do is change your mind. It can be as simple as shifting your mindset from “I don’t believe in problems” to “I believe in opportunities.” That little shift in mindset can be crucial for you to come up with a solution that will blow you away because when you see problems as opportunities, you expand your mind from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset of possibilities. Imagine seeing failures as lessons. Problems as opportunities. And ... feedback as a gift. What would you be doing differently in your life today? Well in this episode we are going to look at how we can become aware and conscious of our scarcity mindset that is keeping us stuck and how we can move into a more abundant and growth mindset that will catapult you forward to rise, thrive and flourish. And of course ... I will always give you three shiny golden nuggets for every moment of AWE together. Enjoy! Our new members area: Join the Tribe Today! Newsletter: for transformation. Episode 283: The Dirt Cure with Dr Maya Shetreat
Catherine is here today with Dr. Maya Shetreat. Dr Maya Shetreat is a neurologist, herbalist, urban farmer, and author of The Dirt Cure where she reveals the shocking contents of children's food, how it's seriously harming their bodies and brains, and what you can do about it. Dr Maya’s current work started when her 7-year-old son had a seizure, at the time of her son’s crisis, she knew that focusing on his physical body wasn’t the answer. It was something that seemed far more intangible. It was his energy body that needed help. It was his spirit. It was his soul. Dr Maya realized that this was exactly what had been missing all along in her training and travelled all over the world and learned from plants, teachers, elders, and indigenous communities from Ecuador and Mexico to Australia and Africa. And ... while she still (and probably forever will) love to geek out over the brain and mitochondria and science, her specialty is showing sensitive, empathic people how to heal, how to care for themselves and how to recognize and hone their gifts. She has been featured in the New York Times, The Telegraph, NPR, Sky News, The Dr. Oz Show and is the founder of the Terrain Institute, where she teaches Terrain Medicine™, earth-based programs for transformational healing. Episode 282: Colour Your Emotions and Give Them a Voice with Catherine Plano
Emotions are the language, the colours and the signs from your soul ... and yet we hold them back, we stifle them, and we repress them in the hope that no one will ever find out that we have ‘emotions’ just like every other human being. The more you repress your emotions, the more they build up, just like a pressure cooker ... eventually they will explode and land all over your kitchen walls only to be sliding down those walls telling you ‘I told you so ... I told you I would be making a mess of this if you didn’t listen to me’....  Have you ever noticed that certain environments influence your emotions and state of mind?  Have you also noticed that particular human beings rub you up the wrong way?  Well, there are particular places and people that can evoke lower vibrational emotions such as anger, fear, jealousy and despair ... and here comes the spoiler alert ... ‘only if you allow them to’!! And then of course, certain places and people evoke courage, growth, strength, and joy, where you know you can be your authentic self and be goofy, with no judgment. Well, in this episode we are going to look at how you can keep your cool in the pressure cooker, how to relieve your stress before you blow a brain vessel and how to keep your cool when your valve for the pressure cooker is going bonkers. And of course ... you will receive three shiny golden nuggets for every moment of AWE together. Newsletter: for transformation Instagram: @catherineplano for inspiration. Enjoy!!
