Our Editor's Take

The AMC Mayfair Witches Podcast is the companion to the AMC show, Lives of The Witches of Mayfair. In 1990, at the height of the success of Interview With A Vampire, Anne Rice published The Witching Hour. Soon after came Lasher and Taltos. The three books make up the Mayfair Witches series. In a testament to the trilogy's staying power, AMC has adapted it to the screen. Better yet, the companion podcast talks to the show creators to give fans even more of what they desire.

Each podcast episode of The AMC Mayfair Witches Podcast starts with a quick summary of that week's show. So fans would be wise to watch the show before they listen to the podcast! There are plenty of spoilers. After the summary, host Amy Nicholson has a conversation with a guest. Jack Huston, who plays Lasher on the show, discusses his character's complexities. Madison Wolfe (Tessa Mayfair on the show) talks about how much time she spends online. Dylan Bauer, a magic consultant, explains his role in making the show feel authentic.
