He’s a graduate of the PGA Golf Management Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently a PGA Teaching Professional at Westchester Country Club in New York. With his PNC win, he got to compete in the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black (his second career PGA Championship). Jim Engh is a golf course architect; designing golf courses all over the world. He’s won numerous awards including Golf Digest’s First Architect of the Year. He’s also a 4-time winner of Golf Digest’s America’s No. 1 Best New Course award; no one has won that award more than him since 1997. He’s been designing golf courses for almost 30 years and has come to be known as the master of modern mountain golf course design. Some of his notable golf courses are The Golf Club at Black Rock in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho and The Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, Colorado.
