After starring in commercials, television series, feature and short films, music videos, corporate industrials, print ads for magazines, billboards and the web, she moved into the role of producer. She started as SAG/AFTRA actress in front of the camera, then moved into writing, producing and directing. Her credits include: Boston Legal, Unsolved Mysteries, NCIS, Transformers 3, as well as numerous commercials, lifestyleshows, and music videos.In addition to her entertainment career, she has traveled as a national and international speaker as the host of an event for young girls, focusing on teaching about positive body image and self-esteem, while sharing her personal story of overcoming trauma. Her memoir called "Rugged Girl: A Story of Self-Destruction and the Journey to Freedom" was published in January 2020.“Rugged Girl” is the true story of a girl who became a woman in the face of trauma. It’s a book about overcoming self-destructive behavior and the shame that attaches to it. For years, Simone battled against depression, addiction, and an eating disorder. She shares about the depths of her darkness and her struggle to find her way to the Light.This is a book for anyone who has experienced or know someone who has endured sexual assault, alcohol or drug addiction, depression, or anxiety. Simone offers tools for recovery and the steps she took towards freedom.After 10 years of working in Hollywood Simone found Jesus and stepped away from the movie industry. Some time later she did a comeback to Los Angeles and entertainment but this time with a purpose - help spread the word of Jesus Christ through her films. Simone’s most important produced picture so far is highly appreciated “A letter to the American church”.
