"Somebody Somewhere" is a true crime investigative podcast series from RainStream Media, Inc. Season 3 is a 10-part series that explores the questions around the unsolved, 2003 death of federal prosecutor Jonathan Luna and the bank robbery he prosecuted where the cash evidence went missing after trial. Season 2 takes listeners into the Seattle homeless encampment known as "The Jungle," as hosts David Payne and Jody Gottlieb investigate a mass shooting allegedly orchestrated by three teenage brothers. And in Season 1, Payne and Gottlieb tackle the open federal investigation into the 2001 murder of federal prosecutor Tom Wales. This 18-year-old case remains one of the highest priorities of the U.S. Department of Justice and has a $2.5 million reward.

The Somebody Somewhere true crime podcast investigates unresolved cases. Ex-CNN producer Jody Gottlieb and former federal prosecutor David Payne host the series. Season one of the podcast examines the murder of Assistant US Attorney Tom Wales. Someone shot him in 2001 through his basement window. A news report calls it "one of the most notorious unsolved murders in Seattle history." The first episode starts by examining what went wrong with the initial investigation. Why is the killer still a mystery after sixteen years?

Through fifteen podcast episodes, Payne and Gottlieb go through all the evidence available. They travel the country to find new leads and uncover fresh evidence. What does a suspicious plane crash have to do with Tom’s death? After eighteen years, police make an arrest. Listeners can follow Payne’s and Gottlieb's journey up to this exciting moment.

Season two of Somebody Somewhere investigates the 2016 Jungle Murders in Seattle. "The Jungle" is the name of a homeless camp in the city and the location of a double homicide. Payne and Gottlieb follow the mistrial of three teenage brothers. The hosts investigate the Jungle’s history, which involves a Vietnamese gang and a thriving drug trade. In the tenth and final episode, they attend court for a retrial.

Season three of the podcast explores a third suspicious tale from 2003. Assistant US Attorney Jonathan Luna died from stab wounds and drowning in a creek. Some people suspected suicide, others called it a homicide. The press linked Luna's murder with a bank robbery case he had prosecuted the year before. Witnesses share their stories for the first time. Payne and Gottlieb uncover moments of hope and redemption as the mystery unfolds.
