Lacrosse is a sport that is increasing in popularity, especially within American universities. Lacrosse Now is a podcast that allows listeners to receive up-to-date news on the sport in a fun and timely manner. It is the official podcast of the online TV channel Lacrosse TV. The program also features interviews with lacrosse players from various teams. The combination of news, interviews, and commentary means lacrosse fans will likely find something to enjoy here.

The host of this podcast is Travis Eldridge. He began his career in sports media in June 2009 as an intern at WXII-TV 12 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In December 2015, he became the lead broadcaster for Lacrosse TV. The channel offers 24/7 lacrosse programming, including news and airing games. Eldridge was one of the station's first hires. He is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

One of the most exciting elements of this podcast is Eldridge's player interviews. In many instances, he is speaking with the sport's future stars. Notable interviews include Atlas goalie Jack Concannon and Chaos attackman Josh Byrne. The host's enthusiasm and knowledge of the sport is apparent in these interviews. Fans of the sport will likely find them compelling and relatable.

The podcast is also very comprehensive regarding how much information it offers. It offers updates on everything from college lacrosse to professional lacrosse. It doesn't matter whether one has been watching for years or starting their first World Games. If it happens in the sport of lacrosse, the match will likely receive a preview or a post-game discussion.

Lacrosse Now offers insightful and thoughtful coverage of a growing sport. Each episode averages between 60 to 75 minutes. While the show went on a hiatus in early 2023, past episodes are available for listening.
