Protests across US as Roe v. Wade overturned

At least 70 planned protests begin across the US with thousands of Americans taking to the streets in the wake of SCOTUS overturning Roe v. Wade. That, as justice Clarence Thomas says the Court’s decision on same-sex marriage should be revisited. Congresses passes its bipartisan gun safety bill, closing the so called “boyfriend loophole” and bolstering the review process for 18 to 21-year olds buying guns.

Plus, several states move quickly to ban abortion after the SCOTUS ruling with more expected follow, Rudy Giuliani faces scrutiny in the Fulton County district attorney’s investigation into Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, and “Stop the Steal” leader Ali Alexander testifies before a federal grand jury.
