January 15, 1991 was the beginning of Operation Desert Storm for the U.S. armed forces. It was, however, a red-letter day for Passport to World Band Radio, a shortwave publication editted by Larry Magne. RAIN’s Founder, Hap Holly/KC9RP spoke with Larry Magne a few weeks following that January day for the RAIN Report.
