Marissa just graduated from Kent State University with her degree in zoology and environmental studies. She will be moving to the Caribbean next year for veterinary school and tells us all about the school and the experience she will get there. She is currently an intern at the Ohio Ocean Foundation, where we raise awareness about the connection between Ohio and the ocean. Marissa has a passion for conservation of wildlife and the environment, specifically the ocean. Natalie and Marissa share a love sea turtles! She enjoys eating plant-based and finding ways to have a sustainable lifestyle while being a busy college student. This was such a special episode to talk with Marissa and hopeful for what the future holds for generations to come and the welfare of our planet.
