Mr. Walker was arrested in 2013 by the FBI for Hobbs Act Robbery and immediately began to cooperate with the federal government. He served 3 years in Fed prison and was released in 2016. He began cooperating with the civil rights attorneys concerning the wrongful convictions and civil lawsuits brought against him & members of the Philadelphia Narcotics unit, including Larry Krasner, who is now the District Attorney in Philadelphia, working together to overturn more than 1,500 cases in which he and other police officers committed thefts, fraud and other police misconduct. From the voice of the defendant: As you can see, my name is Marquis Rayner and presently I'm an inmate at SCI-Forest. I am 28 years of age, and I am from small suburban city, Coatesville Pa. Before this incident, I enjoyed spending time with my family, and friends. I never would have imagined that, I would be writing a letter like this, let alone writing from a prison facility. On March 12, 2013, my life took a complete turn for the worse. I went from waking up each morning preparing for a day caring for hospital patients at the Coatesville Brandywine Hospital to waking up in a jail cell. I was accused of and arrested for a very unfortunate crime that took place in Coatesville on June 29, 2012. I was not, and I repeat, I was not involved with the crime in any capacity, and on that day in June a robbery/murder was committed.

He is the co-founder of the world-renowned Vidocq Society, an organization of forensic experts, which assists law enforcement and victims' families in solving unsolved homicides.

During my previous podcasts, I have spent a lot of time, talking about corrupt police investigations and or lackadaisical police work. Recently, I have been working on cases, where my client’s attorneys were later convicted of a crime and in some cases were under investigation or on disciplinary review during their trials. Larry Forletta's investigative work on one of Pittsburgh's most haunting unsolved murder mysteries takes the spotlight on; Is There Really Truth & Justice for All? Smiley Face Killers: The Hunt For Justice. The docuseries aired on January 19th on the Oxygen Channel and featured the case of Duquesne University student Dakota James. James was last seen in Downtown Pittsburgh after partying with friends on the night of January 25, 2017. Security footage showed him walking through Katz Plaza and Scott Place before heading toward Fort Duquesne Boulevard and disappearing without a trace. On March 6, his lifeless body was found in the Ohio River. Medical examiners ruled James may have accidentally drowned, and local authorities believed he may have been drunk and killed himself, perhaps accidentally, by jumping off the bridge. After investigation however, an overwhelming amount of evidence indicated otherwise.
