The Indiana Hoosiers baseball team fell to the Kentucky Wildcats in a winner-take-all Game 7 of the NCAA baseball tournament on Monday. Teri Moren and the IU women's basketball team landed a commitment from Sydney Fenn while softball All-American Taryn Kern entered the transfer portal.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) recaps the Hoosiers' loss to Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament at the Lexington regional. Post-game comments from head coach Jeff Mercer also caused some controversy as, once again, a Kentucky team is scared of coming to Bloomington.

The Hoosier women's basketball team landed the commitment of Fenn on Tuesday, a 6'3" forward from Arizona Compass Prep. It comes in the week after Moren signed an extension through 2029 that will make her one of the highest-paid coaches in the country.

The show wraps by discussing Kern entering the transfer portal after an incredible freshman season in Bloomington. It's one of the many changes that will come with the NIL era of college athletics and will make it difficult for programs like IU softball to build into a regular contender.
