Could Paliwood blood libels lead to Israel’s annihilation? | Caroline Glick's Mideast News Hour
In this week’s Middle East News Hour, Caroline Glick is joined by Amnon Lord, senior columnist at Israel Hayom and one of Israel’s foremost experts on the Israeli left. Caroline and Amnon discuss the Palestinian and international community’s use of blood libels to demonize Israel and legitimize the mass murder of Jews, in the context of the death of Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh in Jenin last week. Next, they move to the Israeli left’s abandonment of Zionism and what it means for Israeli democracy, for the country’s ability to withstand and defeat the political war the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and its partners are waging against it and for Israel’s survival more generally. And this includes a focus on the state of Israeli politics and its influence on national security.

Episode 49 – France, Europe’s Broken Politics and the Holocaust
On the week of Holocaust Remembrance Day and the French presidential elections, Caroline was joined by Eldad Beck, Israel Hayom’s correspondent in Europe to discuss the results – and implications of the French elections which demonstrated the pathologies of the left, right and center of French politics. It was a longer than usual discussion. The section on French politics takes up the first half hour. The discussion on the Holocaust and Israel-European relations begins around a half hour in, and goes til the end of the program. Episode 48 – Ambassador David Friedman shows how Trump’s “Sledgehammer” brought peace
In this special week’s episode of the Middle East News Hour, Caroline Glick is joined by Ambassador David Friedman, President Trump’s extraordinary ambassador to Israel. They discussed Friedman’s recently released memoir of service, Sledgehammer where he set out how Trump’s courageous break with 75 years of failed U.S. Middle East policies, starting with his decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, brought peace to the Middle East. Glick and Friedman also took an in-depth look at the American Jewish community’s self-destructive ignorance, how Israel must seize the reins of leadership of the Jewish people, grow up and fulfill its destiny, and how we mustn’t let the truths Friedman and Trump uncovered be lost in the left’s haste to bury Trump’s legacy through appeasement of America’s enemies.

Episode 44 – Biden and Obama’s Putin Two-Step in Ukraine and Iran
How can Biden call Putin a war criminal for his aggression in Ukraine while subcontracting his signature foreign policy – cutting a deal that makes Iran a nuclear state and regional hegemon – to Putin? For answers to this key question, in this week’s Middle East News Hour I spoke to Mideast scholar Tony Badran from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Last week Tony published an important article on this topic in Tablet online magazine. Towards the end of our discussion we moved from the administration’s policy of empowering Iran to its policy of pretending that Hezbollah is not in charge in Lebanon. Episode 36 – The New Germany, Same as the Old Germany? | Guest: Benjamin Weinthal
With Germany effectively killing the NATO alliance this week by effectively siding with Russia against the U.S. and NATO in the Ukraine crisis, in this week’s show Caroline Glick spoke with veteran reporter Benjamin Weinthal, who served from 2002-2016 as the Jerusalem Post’s correspondent in Berlin and now covers the Middle Eastern affairs for the Post in Jerusalem while serving as a fellow for the Washington, DC based Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Caroline and Ben looked at Germany’s betrayal of the U.S. today from the perspective of German culture – the deep seated, ubiquitous anti-Americanism and endemic anti-Semitism in German society. They then moved on to discuss Germany’s welcoming attitude towards Muslim migrants with deeply anti-Western and anti-Jewish cultures, its hostility towards Judaism and the German government’s pathological relationship with the Jewish community in Germany. It was a fascinating discussion on the German psyche that revolved around the question of what, if anything has changed in the German psyche since the Holocaust.
