Today’s guest is Michael Chupka, Director of Communications for Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Michael grew up playing out of Brandermill Country Club in the Richmond, VA area. He then earned a scholarship to play his college golf at JMU. In 2007, he set off for Oregon after getting an internship at Bandon Dunes, and as fate would have, it he never left! Michael has held many key positions at the resort in the last 16 years, including Head Pro at Pacific Dunes which then led to his current role as Director of Communications for the entire operation. Michael oversees all of the great media content and press that comes out of the resort, and is closely connected with the powers that be at BDGR including the Keiser family and the golf course architects who have made their mark at Bandon. We enjoyed learning about Michael’s story, and got some insight on the newly announced 19 hole par 3 course that is under construction now! Enjoy!

Trey, Parker and Myself put down with Curtis Thompson (2020 Korn Ferry Q-school Champion, and Winner of the 2020 Evan Scholars Korn Ferry Event) and talk junior golf, college golf, the ups and downs of his professional career, along with a few other odds and ends. Curtis was well spoken and great to talk to, he is looking to crack that top-25 number on the Korn Ferry money list this year and gain his first PGA Tour card.

Larkin Gross and myself sit down and reminisce about our Junior golf days, talk about his college athletic experience, as well as the differences in the collegiate levels. We talk about his experience playing in this year PGA Championship against the best players in the world and what he learned. It was a lot of fun and hope you all enjoy it.

Sitting down with Bryson we chat again about the Clemson golf program and the prolonged success that they have seen through different coaching styles.
