How to Get Unlimited WiFI in Your Campervan or RV

The Wayward Home Podcast

Are you wondering how to stay connected while living in a van or an RV? There are several ways to get WiFi in a campervan, and one isn't better than the other.

When I first started living on a sailboat and in a van, I had a hard time figuring out the best way to get unlimited internet so I could work and stream videos. I started out with a Verizon MiFi hotspot, which only gave me 5 gigs per month and then was $10 per extra gig. I went over all the time and ended up paying a lot for WiFi.

Then I talked to Amber Baldwin of StoryChasing.com who told me about Reliable Internet Services. This is AT&T Unlimited WiFi hotspot that is never throttled. Reliable Internet Services contracts with AT&T to provide internet to rural or underserved communities, and it's also great for van life and RVing.

I even use this hotspot in Mexico with some additional support from Reliable Internet Services. Here's what I cover in this podcast:

  • What I use for unlimited internet
  • A good budget option for unlimited WiFi
  • What I think about cellular signal boosters like WeBoost
  • Free places to get Wifi in your campervan
