Finding Freedom

Dawn Morgan

Welcome to Finding Freedom, the show that helps you find your freedom. We will hear the wildly differing perspectives on what freedom is, what it isn’t, and why, how, and when it can be achieved, and also taken from us, in physical, emotional and psychological ways. We will discuss topics that may challenge you, or make you reconsider your own perspective. We will explore the many facets of freedom and the ways in which to achieve it, in life, in business, in love; are you ready to find your freedom?

Freedom for me is being able to express who I am, choose the life that suits me and my personality, and being free from the ‘normal’ expectations of society. I also want the freedom to talk about topics that I don’t understand, but am curious to learn about, without judgement, political correctness, or feeling the need for self-censoring. We can only learn about things if we are free to discuss, challenge and explore.

Sharing personal journeys, they break free from societal norms to embrace self-awareness, fulfilment, and purpose. Explore confidence, worthiness, and stepping into your power to design a life of freedom. Tune in for inspiring stories and valuable insights on living boldly as your true self. KEY TAKEAWAYS Kelly defines freedom as embracing authenticity and joy, whether through family time, hobbies, or fulfilling work. It's about shedding societal expectations and embracing true freedom in every aspect of life.Emphasising the pivotal shift from seeking external validation to embracing inner truth and vision, Kelly notes this transition empowers individuals to authentically step into their power. Yet, it's not just about the decision—it's about fostering an empowering mindset and implementing effective strategies to support this newfound authenticity.Crafting a clear vision of one's contribution to the world and aligning goals, mindset, beliefs, and energy accordingly is crucial. It's about nurturing positive energy through activities that ignite passion, rather than succumbing to low energy as an inevitable outcome of daily life.Encouraging the building of confidence by continually venturing beyond comfort zones, proving personal resilience in the face of challenges, is vital. Confidence is cultivated through practice, not innate talent. Kelly suggests celebrating moments of overcoming self-doubt or fear as one would reward a puppy during training. BEST MOMENTS  “One of the greatest challenges that we have, especially as females, is a desire to explain” "We have this idea that confidence should just miraculously appear” "It's not like a relationship because ultimately, you can end a relationship” "Freedom means fully stepping into one's highest power and choosing a life of authenticity and purpose." Pushing Boundaries to Find Freedom with Rob Moore

Pushing Boundaries to Find Freedom with Rob Moore
Entrepreneur Rob Moore joins Dawn Morgan on Finding Freedom to discuss living life on your own terms. They explore controversial topics like cashless societies and imposter syndrome, emphasising the importance of embracing change and shedding old patterns. Rob shares his personal journey to freedom through accountability, integrity and strategic life design. Discover how to plant your flag with pride, confront relationships with respect, and achieve balance through mindset shifts. Rob and Dawn challenge you to push boundaries, break records, and find fulfilment in the challenges of personal growth. KEY TAKEAWAYS To Rob, freedom means living life on your own terms, at the speed you desire, without intervention from governments and central banks, while still being accountable to others. True freedom requires responsibility and accountability. To really taste freedom, you need context - you need to experience restriction and hardship to fully appreciate freedom when you have it. Freedom is a present moment choice, not a destination.  Avoiding conflict prevents growth. You need to embrace challenging conversations and disagreements to evolve. This can be done respectfully. If you don't speak out about things you disagree with, nothing will change.Know your non-negotiables - your values, beliefs and boundaries. Articulate them. Plant your flag proudly. Don't apologise for standing up for what you believe in. Clarity on your non-negotiables allows you to live and lead with integrity. BEST MOMENTS  "Freedom is not a destination. Freedom is a present moment."  "In a way cash is a certain amount of freedom. Because let's say the government's and the central banks decided they didn't want you to leave the house because they wanted to do another lockdown. Yeah, where if money and information is all digital, they can just shut your account down."  "The more freedom you have also, paradoxically, the more responsibility you have, this is the delusion that most people don't understand." "Freedom means living life, on your terms, but being accountable to the people who rely on you."  "Just when you think you've got all your ducks in a row one's going to fall off, or someone's going to shoot one."    EPISODE RESOURCES  Rob Moore ABOUT THE GUEST  Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Finding Your Voice and Sharing Your Unique Story with Leslie Fiorenzo
Dawn’s guest today is Leslie Fiorenzo. Leslie guides her clients to find their voice and share their unique story to grow their business. Leslie's unique approach comes from over 30 years spent in corporate environments as a human resources professional. A lifelong learner, she has achieved a number of certifications and holds a master's degree in Human Resource Development. KEY TAKEAWAYS To Leslie, freedom is the opportunity to share what you feel is important about your business and being confident in your ability to do that. When you’re scared it makes you stuck and when you’re stuck then you’re not free.Leslie advocates for coaching to unlock internal potential and prioritise future growth, distinct from therapy's emphasis on resolving past issues. She advises seeking coaching to break through barriers and progress.Leslie highlights that fear of public speaking, networking, and self-promotion is acquired rather than innate. She supports clients in overcoming these fears to effectively promote their businesses and create impact. It’s important to heed your inner champion for liberation from self-doubt. Leslie collaborates with clients to quiet their inner critic, enabling them to pursue aspirations boldly and realise their dreams.   BEST MOMENTS   “Don’t listen to that little voice inside your head that says you can’t” “Take a step back and ask, does this feel right for me?” “We just need to be persistent and get up when knocked down” “Share your light - don't be the world's best kept secret”   EPISODE RESOURCES Leslie C Fiorenzo YouTube   ABOUT THE GUEST “Early in my career I belonged to a businesswomen’s group, and they held a speaking contest. First prize was $100.  I entered, I prepared and was disappointed when I didn’t win first prize, I didn’t even place in the top 5!  A mentor of mine who was in the audience, gave me the following feedback: “You had a death grip on the podium, did you think it was going to run away?  You stumbled over your words and the two stories you told didn’t connect to the topic.” I was devastated.  It was all I could do to not cry on the way home in a car full of other women. But I was determined to conquer my fears, create stories that make an impact and craft a presentation that would wow the audience. Fast forward 10 years and my then employer sent me to present our safety program at an industry conference.  This time the prize was based on the impact of the program not the presentation, yet when people approached me afterward and gave me compliments on my delivery and the stories I shared; I knew I’d moved well beyond that timid young woman losing a speech contest years before.”   ABOUT THE HOST Dawn Morgan, hypnotherapist and business mentor, guides individuals in discovering personal and business freedom amid life's challenges. Dealing With Being a People Pleaser & Being a Burnt-Out Parent
Mar 18 2024
Dealing With Being a People Pleaser & Being a Burnt-Out Parent
Today Dawn is joined by Jamie Vollmoeller. Jamie is a mum, wife, group practice owner, clinical therapist, radio host, and certified clinical trauma professional. Jamie is on a mission to remind mums and parents that you are good enough and specialises in working with people pleasers, burnt-out parents, and professionals who feel chronically not good enough. KEY TAKEAWAYS Part of finding freedom is embracing the full spectrum of emotions, recognizing that happiness isn't constant, and accepting negative emotions as part of the human experience. Striving for perpetual happiness is neither realistic nor attainable for anyone. Children often mimic the body language and emotions of their parents, reflecting their caregivers' emotional states. Parents serve as emotional regulators for their children and should be projecting healthy emotional expression, providing comfort, and offering support during challenging times. People often strive excessively to gain universal approval, morphing into social chameleons. Yet, this facade breeds unhappiness, as authenticity gets sacrificed. True contentment arises when one embraces their genuine self, finding their tribe among those who appreciate them for who they truly are.For Jamie, freedom is the ability to be herself in any situation and feel completely safe while doing so in both mind and body.  BEST MOMENTS  ‘It was almost like I was a prisoner in my mind, I knew my thoughts were not true’ ‘As parents we are their sense of safety, if I feel safe then so will they’ ‘You’re not in control of other people, but you are in control of how you respond’  ‘Thank you for that piece of advice, but I’m going to go my own way’   EPISODE RESOURCES Jamie Vollmoeller - Long Island EMDR jamie@liemdr.com ABOUT THE GUEST  Jamie Vollmoeller is a clinical therapist, radio show host, and mom with ADHD. Jamie is on a mission to remind moms and parents that "you are good enough". Jamie has worked extensively with individuals who are experiencing emotional triggers, irritability, low self-esteem, and feeling disconnected from themselves and those around them. Jamie teaches a very effective method to help her clients work through their past so they can be focused on the present. Jamie candidly shares her proven modalities to help your audience confront their fears, ease their sadness, and create and reach new goals. For those suffering from trauma, Jamie knows firsthand what it's like to have your life back, to put your head on the pillow at night and find rest knowing that you are good enough.   ABOUT THE PODCAST Welcome to Finding Freedom, the show exploring diverse perspectives on freedom—what it is, what it isn't, and the ways it can be attained or restricted in physical, emotional, and psychological dimensions. As a child, she focused on pleasing others and meeting their expectations. Over time, she realised this was not authentic to who she was. KEY TAKEAWAYS Freedom for Louisa is feeling alive, present in her space and body, unbound by societal expectations. It's rejecting others' standards, avoiding the future's grip, and embracing the essence of now—immersing herself in the present, in her being, and her space.Louisa helps clients get to the root cause of their weight and body image struggles, which often stem from emotional reasons like seeking love or hiding from feeling unattractive. This enables her to create customised plans that address core issues rather than just surface level actions.Louisa emphasises making small, sustainable changes rather than extreme, short-lived diets. She meets clients where they are instead of prescribing rigid, one-size-fits-all solutions. This individualised approach leads to longer-lasting change. As a coach, Louisa aims to be a supportive cheerleader celebrating wins and working through challenges as a team. Sexuality and Personal Choice with Former Sex Worker and Somatic Sexologist Artemisia de Vine
Mar 4 2024
Sexuality and Personal Choice with Former Sex Worker and Somatic Sexologist Artemisia de Vine
Dawn is joined by Artemisia de Vine for a fascinating conversation covering themes of freedom, sexuality, and personal choice from the perspective of a former sex worker and somatic sexologist. Artemisia discusses the complex interplay between restriction and expansion that creates freedom. She shares her personal story of struggling with societal stigma as a sex worker while seeking inner wisdom and autonomy. KEY TAKEAWAYS Artemisia faced challenges growing up, with her mother dying young and her father rejecting her. This led her to follow her own path and interests, leading to her fascination with the sex industry. She went "native" and became a sex worker to understand people's desires.Sexual fantasies help us overcome our fears of vulnerability so we can let go. They are stories that transport us to different feeling states. Women can get in the mood by tuning into their own desires and following what their body wants, starting small like with a cup of tea. Artemisia advises setting a date with yourself and your desire to overcome resistance.Embarrassment about sexual fantasies is natural, as there is a part of us, ego, that resists vulnerability. But we can use the charge productively. Sexual fantasies allow us to temporarily relax the ego/self that normally protects us, so we can access states of connection beyond our everyday consciousness. BEST MOMENTS  ‘Your first port of call is to tune inwards rather than outwards to your own desire compass’ ‘Stories are powerful because a lot of us use stories and escape’ ‘Any any sort of charge can be used in a destructive or constructive way’ ‘Sometimes freedom means bondage’   EPISODE RESOURCES  www.artemisiadevine.com www.mydesirestory.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/artemisia-de-vine-780847184/   ABOUT THE GUEST  Artemisia de Vine was scared of sex, so instead of running from it, she poked it with a stick to see how it works. When we face our fears we transform them. This led to a lifetime of personal and professional sexplorations to understand how the erotic psyche works. She learned from some of the leading erotic pioneers in the world, spent well over a decade as a full-time sex worker and professional dominatrix, and is now an internationally sought after sexpert who mentors elite sex workers, therapists, sex educators and self-discovery seekers how to understand the erotic mind and create tailored experiences based on each person's unique erotic narrative. She has an upcoming book: The Spirituality of Smut: The surprising wisdom of sexual fantasies. Healing from Abuse with Jimmi Toro

Healing from Abuse with Jimmi Toro
WARNING – this podcast discusses and describes Jimmi’s experience with ritualistic child abuse. Dawn is joined by author, music producer and artist Jimmi Toro to talk about his devastating story of child abuse. Jimmi talks about his own abuse and how it impacted him as an adult and how he has managed to heal. He also discusses systematic child abuse in the world, and how to deal with trauma as well his charity work and his book HEAL. KEY TAKEAWAYS  Trauma isn’t so much about what happened to you but the wound it leaves upon you.Child abusers are very good at hiding what they do, they are often master manipulators and hide in plain sight. Most children who are abused are abused by someone they know.Once a child is abused, if they can find safety after in someone who loves them then they can heal. Jimmi had no one to turn to as a child and what happened instead is it stored the abuse inside of him.Not being believed by adults they tell compounds the trauma for children who have been abused.Jimmi was a victim of ritualistic child abuse which included being buried in a coffin alive inside a dead adult body. An unimaginable experience. To heal from abuse, you have to go back and reconcile with each and every experience, and heal from every single time. When Jimmi started his process of healing, he studied and read countless books and research on trauma and healing.Jimmi had repressed memories of his experiences of abuse, they didn’t start coming back to him until he was in his 40’s and it took time for him to start the healing process through talk therapy.Part of the healing process for Jimmi was to name the emotions he felt when remembering the abuse and to then go back and make his younger self feel safe.Sadly it is common that those who have been abused or been through trauma never heal.   BEST MOMENTS  “I think we can all agree on the idea of pain and anxiety is a painful experience, an unwanted experience” “I have a hard time calling them human, they are so far removed from a human being” “When someone is traumatised, your body goes into a fight or flight mode” “Humans are good at their evil craft” “You have to go back to that little you who was abused at the time that you were being abused” “Many people who are traumatised don’t ever heal” VALUABLE RESOURCES Link to download your free report on The 7 Best Motivational Apps That Help You Stick to Your Goals https://findingfreedom.academy/motivateapps If you would like to experience hypnotherapy, please click the link below to book a taster session. Brain Health and Anxiety with Allison Liu
Allison is a brain health coach and an expert in helping women reclaim their mental wellbeing and improve both their energy and their mood. In this episode, Allison shares her journey including discovering the link between brain health and anxiety and gives her thoughts on what she thinks often exacerbates anxiety in the modern world including the media and poor diet. KEY TAKEAWAYS  Many of us don’t learn much about our brain, we are taught very little, particularly around mental health and the link with menopause.Allison began to notice the changes in her brain and mood whilst going through menopause, she felt like she was losing her sense of self and began to have panic attacks.Functional medicine is looking at the whole person and this is an area Allison discovered when looking for help with her symptoms and went on to transform her life. Her own experience meant that Allison decided to train as a health coach specialising in brain health, she wanted to help others in the way she helped herself.Diet has a proven impact on all health including brain health, particularly around dopamine and serotonin production and release.A drop in sugar, a sugar low, is linked to feelings of anxiety so it really can be the case that what you eat impacts your anxiety and your ability to deal with it.Rates of anxiety are the highest they have ever been, pointing to the way we live our lives in the modern world as a cause including diet, media consumption and other lifestyle factors.Diet is more than just food, think about the content you are consuming too including the news and social media.   BEST MOMENTS  “We learn more about our heart and our skin but nobody really teaches us about the organ that is our brain” “People don’t know what they could do for themselves” “Our food has a very powerful impact on our brain and the neurotransmitters in our brain” “Whatever we can do to try and keep those blood sugar levels stable actually is really beneficial for somebody if they’re struggling with anxiety” VALUABLE RESOURCES Link to download your free report on The 7 Best Motivational Apps That Help You Stick to Your Goals https://findingfreedom.academy/motivateapps If you would like to experience hypnotherapy, please click the link below to book a taster session. For your FREE Burnout E-Book head to Tess’ website https://tessjewelllarsen.coach/freebie/   KEY TAKEAWAYS  Tess has struggled with anxiety since childhood, this was amplified by moving away from home and then back again.Hiking was a great stress reliever and a way Tess would deal with anxiety and her mental health, even though she didn’t realise it at the time. There isn’t just one type of treatment for anxiety, there isn’t even one type of meditation. It’s important that you keep trying to find what works for you even if what you try at first doesn’t work. You have to be ready to work on yourself and your stress and anxiety. Until you recognise your difficulties and ground yourself you won’t be ready to start treatment.2020 was the most difficult period for Tess’ anxiety, she had a lot of difficult situations to deal with including her husbands' health difficulties.Covid had a devastating impact on so many people, it leaves a lasting legacy of mental health problems including anxiety, largely due to the lack of support during that time as well as so many people feeling they had no control over situations. After experiencing her anxiety crisis in 2020, Tess knew she had to try and take control. She quit her job and put herself fully into her passion of Yoga, studying it in depth and then beginning to teach others.Tess then went on to becoming certified in wellness coaching, she wanted to support others but also used what she learnt to support herself and her own anxiety. This multi-faceted approach to dealing with her anxiety helped Tess realise how much she could transform others lives as well as her own.Tess’ 10-minute method for burnout: Spend 10 minutes of your day and ask yourself, how are you doing, how are you feeling and decide what you need to do today to take 1 step to support yourself. BEST MOMENTS  “Meet yourself where you’re at…focus on grounding yourself first before you start working on those things” “Anxiety is all about lack of control and being able to control the future and covid was classic on that, none of us knew what was happening day to day let alone year to year” “I’m gonna teach yoga on the side and focus on me” “I’m still continuing that dive of learning all of these different techniques and being able to not only support myself with them…and others” “It seems so little, 10 minutes, but when you do them all the time every single day you actually spend a lot more time for yourself” VALUABLE RESOURCES Link to download your free report on The 7 Best Motivational Apps That Help You Stick to Your Goals https://findingfreedom.academy/motivateapps If you would like to experience hypnotherapy, please click the link below to book a taster session. Anine Ekelund is a public speaker, consultant and life coach with over 20 years of experience. Anine has founded multiple support networks, ran and created various leadership workshops at fortune 100 companies and most recently, Anine talks Dawn about the unique and proven ways she has eliminated her anxiety and they also discuss the physiological and psychological symptoms anxiety presents and what they can often mean for us as individuals. KEY TAKEAWAYS  Anine started to experience anxiety in small ways as a child, often freezing in situations where she felt fearful or under pressure, such as performing or at school.Part of the reason Anine followed her career path, into a role with a lot of public speaking, was to face her fears. It did help but she still hadn’t addressed the underlying problem, of what was causing her anxiety. To live life to the fullest we have to keep pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones and this means facing our fears. Our body can respond physically when we are not aligned or if we are doing something that we feel we aren’t capable of. Our learnt limiting beliefs, rules and expectations can impact us unconsciously. When we feel anxiety, we need to be curious about it, it’s our body and brain trying to tell us something.Anine made a conscious decision to no longer live in fear and live authentically and this is when her anxiety began to reduce.   BEST MOMENTS  “Everyone has experienced anxiety at some point in their lives, whether it’s small little bits or big traumatic ones” “I don’t like to feel fearful, I like to feel strong” “Feel the fear and do it anyway” “I have to challenge my fear all the time, to live life to the fullest” “It’s really about being curious when anxiety shows up because there’s a message there” “I became so transformed when I found my purpose” VALUABLE RESOURCES Link to download your free report on The 7 Best Motivational Apps That Help You Stick to Your Goals https://findingfreedom.academy/motivateapps If you would like to experience hypnotherapy, please click the link below to book a taster session. Is Your Career leaving You Anxious or Stressed? Interview With Matias

Is Your Career leaving You Anxious or Stressed? Interview With Matias
Is your career leaving you anxious, stressed and drained? Dawn had this exact problem in her past career and is joined in this episode by Matias Bichara who has had the same difficulties. Matias opens up to Dawn about the difficulties and challenges of becoming and practising as a lawyer and how the culture of the industry creates stress and anxiety for many. He sincerely talks about when he realised he could no longer practice law and how he came to recognise that coaching was always what he was meant to do. KEY TAKEAWAYS  Fear, punishment and embarrassment is not a good way to motivate people, yet this is the culture in teaching and practising law. It’s motivation through fear. The anxiety and stress Matias felt even at the beginning of his career as a lawyer had a negative impact on his well-being as well as how well he performed. When we are fearful, we shut down, it is a natural response. Yet so many leaders do not understand this.Law isn’t the only industry where fear is used by leadership, it’s a toxic method that is found in many industries, it is passed down from manager to manager and therefore their teams too.Individuals can be made to feel like anything worth doing is supposed to be difficult, hard and stressful. Gaining an outside perspective on this is the only way out and this is was Matias did and he now helps others discover the same.Choosing to give up your day job to pursue your real passion can be a difficult decision. Dawn usually recommends that you wait until you are making the same as your day job before you quit unless your current day job is too toxic to wait. It’s not always a person’s career that needs to change. Sometimes it’s just the position or even just difficult conversations that need to be had. BEST MOMENTS  “You always have to be extra prepared, there’s no room for mistakes” “People learn to avoid a specific behaviour rather than engage in a new one” “If your entire life is driven by feat then you are going to collapse” “I quit my job and then I started to look at what things would fulfil me” “In reality, I work with anybody who doesn’t like their job” VALUABLE RESOURCES Link to download your free report on The 7 Best Motivational Apps That Help You Stick to Your Goals https://findingfreedom.academy/motivateapps If you would like to experience hypnotherapy, please click the link below to book a taster session. Despite all the sacrifices he had made to achieve a successful career, he knew that continuing in this manner wasn’t serving him. That is when he decided something needed to change. He set on a path to find a career that made him feel happy and fulfilled. Through his journey of passion and purpose discovery, he realized that his true calling was to become a life coach and help people overcome the same problems he had faced for years. His mission now is to help everyone discover their true calling in life, while making the process of taking that leap of faith as smooth and risk-free as possible. How to Stop People Pleasing and Become Present with Kamini Wood

How to Stop People Pleasing and Become Present with Kamini Wood
Kamini Wood is a certified coach who helps people take the courageous steps needed to identify their limiting beliefs, and the reasons behind their stagnation or low self-esteem, so they can have what they want professionally and personally to live a fulfilled life. Kamini joins Dawn to talk about her own experiences with anxiety and their causes, what this taught her as a person and what we can all learn and gain from anxiety and feelings of inadequacy.  KEY TAKEAWAYS  As a child Kamini struggled to fit in as she felt and looked different, this alongside not wanting to feel a burden to her hard-working parents meant that she learnt perfectionist tendencies and to people please; a recipe for anxiety.Witnessing her children presenting perfectionist tendencies was a catalyst for change in Kamini’s own way of dealing with things.Finding your limiting beliefs and recognising false narratives are the first steps to begin living your best life, this is something Kamini taught herself and now teaches others too.Society, culture, families and our own personalities all have an impact in founding and building our belief and value systems, especially about ourselves.Putting boundaries in place is essential if you want to transform yourself as a people pleaser. Not everyone will be happy with you doing this as they were benefitting from your lack of boundaries. We can’t eliminate all anxiety and some forms of anxiety actually keep us safe and can be helpful. It’s about recognising when anxiety is unhelpful and how to overcome it when it’s not serving you that’s important.Instead of trying to get rid of your anxiety, be curious about it and figure out what it is trying to tell you.Life isn’t always easy, it’s the extremes of life, feelings and emotions that allow us to appreciate the good times. You can’t have love, for example, without pain. The core belief of not being good enough can affect and impact anyone, it just presents in different ways.Being present in the moment, the here and now, is one of the biggest gifts you can give to yourself and those around you. BEST MOMENTS  “The stories that I internalised is that I needed to please others and do for others in order to prove my worth” “Through obstacle can come opportunity, so through anxiety, what is the opportunity?” “The human experience is about all the ups and down” “One of the elements of self-compassion is mindfulness, it’s about being in the present moment” VALUABLE RESOURCES Link to download your free report on The 7 Best Motivational Apps That Help You Stick to Your Goals https://findingfreedom.academy/motivateapps If you would like to experience hypnotherapy, please click the link below to book a taster session. She joins Dawn in this episode to talk all about her mission, her own journey with anxiety as well as tips and techniques to finding your purpose and living a fulfilled life. KEY TAKEAWAYS  Lucia’s experience of anxiety is that it shows up when she is trying to make changes in her life.Anxiety is like an internal alarm system in all of us, triggered by our emotions, feelings and personal experiences. It can be helpful, but it can also sabotage us.If we want to move forward, progress and evolve in our lives then we have to take risks. If you are struggling with negative self-talk, then speaking with others and seeking help can help as you can express how you’re feeling and bring these thoughts out into the open.Always try and do something each day that pushes you out of your comfort zone. This way it becomes a habit, you then learn to always learn and adapt and ignore that unhelpful voice of anxiety.Lucia helps women find their purpose and unleash their potential surrounding it.Problem-solving and creativity are the keys to unlocking your potential, they are also skills that can help manage anxiety. It takes a lot of action, effort and will to recognise and work towards where you should be in life. It can feel overwhelming but that doesn’t make it impossible and we all deserve to be fulfilled and happy. Angela began her writing career with non-fiction articles and progressed to a blend of fiction and non-fiction in the creation of Play Pause Unwind, a series of relaxation visualisation resources. Her dream of writing a novel took longer. She was plagued by doubts about the quality of her writing and at 30,000 words wondered how she would ever finish her book. The pathway to publishing also seemed incredibly daunting. After finding an agent, she then waited over two years for news of a publishing deal. In 2019 she took matters into her own hands and her first novel was finally released later in 2019. She has since become an Amazon best-selling author with four women’s fiction novels and two short story anthologies. Her short stories have also been published in ‘Yours’ magazine and feature regularly on the radio. Her writing coaching began with The Writer’s Company and continues as a freelance coach. She has a passion for helping writers achieve their full creative potential whilst nurturing their personal well-being.
