Our Editor's Take

The Telegraph Rugby Podcast generates conversations about European rugby. It covers the Six Nations Championship of rugby between England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, and Italy. The podcast offers rugby fans comprehensive reporting about happenings in rugby. It discusses rugby on an intercontinental level.

Charlie Morgan, Charles Richardson, and Ben Coles host the podcast. All three report about rugby for The Telegraph online newspaper. The paper's headquarters are in London and have a reporting history dating back to 1855. The Telegraph Rugby Podcast focuses on the sport with honest dialogues and analysis.

The three hosts lead the podcast with a calm and decisive cadence. They speak about the latest rugby results between the European nations. Charlie, Charles, and Ben all convey a distinct love for the sport. Of course, they have a bias towards the England national rugby team. England collected many wins in the Six Nations Championship, some of which are Grand Slams. But the hosts exhibit fair reporting for the rest of the nations on The Telegraph Rugby Podcast.

The show also emphasizes the Rugby World Cup. The tournament happens every four years. It allows European teams to play against nations like Australia and New Zealand. The hosts talk at length about the top players from each team. They examine the officiating and coaching decisions from the most recent games. The Telegraph Rugby Podcast introduces debates about what England should do to win.

The Telegraph Rugby Podcast invites guests to add color commentary. Oliver Brown, The Telegraph's chief sports writer, joins to talk over England's next matchup. Former referees like JP Doyle add insights about the sport. Plus, the show interviews players. South Africa's national player, Cheslin Kolbe, considers the current state of rugby.

The Telegraph Rugby Podcast releases episodes once a week. Episodes run for about an hour.
