Episode 113 - Ninuca Tkeshelashvili - Amazing Young Concert Pianist
Ninuca is a 23 year old incredibly talented professional concert pianist, originally from Georgia and now based in Germany.  She tells me what Georgia is like and apparently they make great wine there! I ask her how she started playing the piano.  Remembering how myself and many others were sent to have piano lessons as children and didn't do particularly well, Ninuca however was encouraged by her mother and her music teacher who was her inspiration too, and we can hear the results.  She tells me how long she practices each day. Incredible!  I play a few short clips of Ninuca playing, of course she corrected me on what the music was from, (I don't even know who wrote 'Chopsicks') but I just had to ask how on earth she remembers where all the notes are ! She gives me an interesting and professional answer. Her dedication is both admirable and impressive.   I am sure we will be seeing and hearing much more from Ninuca in the future, in the meantime have a look at her playing the piano on her Instagram page, you will be amazed.   www.instagram.com/ninnucca.t --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Podcasting is an increasingly brilliant way to reach your audience as more and more people are listening to podcasts world wide. Episode 112- Georgina White - Talented Singer, Actress & More
Well as you know I've interviewed some very talented people and Georgina is no exception! Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Performer, Multi Instrumentalist, Voice Coach, Model and much more! She's a very nice person too and you can see why she is so busy with work.   Georgina tells me about how she started in music and drama, about the training she has had, and about her signing to a Nashville record label.  Her single 'I will Survive' is an excellent version of the Gloria Gaynor hit and I play a bit to let you hear what it's like. It's fabulous and it had me dancing (badly) in my studio seat!  Of course I had to ask if she practices singing with a hairbrush for a microphone in the mirror, listen to her reply! Talking of hair brushes she actually appears in another video for one for her songs 'Not Your Baby' ( I play a bit of that for you too).  Georgina is playing the role of Dr Christine Bott this Spring 2024 in the UK tour revival of Operation Julie! Get your tickets here: https://theatr-nanog.co.uk/operation-julie  She has some very good advice for fellow musicians, well worth taking note!  Her music is available to download everywhere and you can find out more about her at www.georginawhite.com  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Podcasting is an increasingly brilliant way to reach your audience as more and more people are listening to podcasts world wide. Episode 111 - Tony Hadley - New Music

Episode 111 - Tony Hadley - New Music
I was thrilled to be asked to interview 80's Icon the one and only Tony Hadley, formally from Spandau Ballet of course, and as you will hear he's such a nice bloke! We chat about how he started singing as a school boy and what happened afterwards.  He tells me what it was like when he appeared in Benidorm the popular hilarious TV series, and on Michael McIntyre's show too when he was set up! On his new album and tour he sings some of the greatest swing songs ever, and variations of his Spandau hits too. I play a clip from the album 'The Mood I'm In' a former Jack Jones hit, and also 'Walk of Shame' a cheeky track from the album to make you smile and give you a taste of the new music.  His voice is as good as ever as you will hear.  Tony has some great advice for musicians starting out, well worth taking on board.  His fabulous swing and big band album 'The Mood I'm In' is available to download everywhere, and special vinyl versions are available too as Tony describes.    You can book tickets for his tour dates in March 2024 at www.tonyhadley.com  and get more information on his Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/thetonyhadley --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Podcasting is an increasingly brilliant way to reach your audience as more and more people are listening to podcasts world wide. Episode 110 - The Fantastic Tony Christie
We laughed and laughed !Talking to the one and only Tony Christie was a real treat! He tells me about how he got into music as a child, and how he had the hit with 'Is This The Way To Amarillo', first back in 1971 and then with Peter Kay of course much later.  I find out how that actually came about! We have a laugh at what Google Maps say about the way to Amarillo! Tony has recorded new music in Nashville and his brilliant new Album ' We Still Shine' is out now. His single from the album is superb and I play a bit of 'Just Like Yesterday' - written by 10cc's Graham Gouldman. Young Tony ( He's only 80 ! ) has recently been diagnosed with Dementia but has it under control.
