Erroneous Representation Of Beasts The End Times Prophecy - Part 4 of 14
Many people incorrectly interpret Daniel's dream from Daniel Chapter 7 to mean the same thing as Nebuchadnezzar's dream from Daniel Chapter 2. They believe that the beasts represent nations that existed in the day and age of Daniel. However, this is incorrect. Daniel's beasts cannot be nations of that age because his dream stated that they were nations of the future. Therefore, there is no way that they could represent nations that existed at that time like Nebuchadnezzar's dream. Grab your Bible and join us as we examine the scriptures to learn more about these interpretations. The Beasts Represent Modern Nations End Times Prophecy - Part 3 of 14
The beasts that Daniel saw in the dream he wrote about in Daniel Chapter 7 represent modern nations of the 21st century. How can this be? There are several reasons that we will examine in today's message. The main points are that we know the dream was a vision of the future. Therefore, it could not represent any nations that were in existence while Daniel was alive. In addition, Daniel didn't understand the dream. Therefore, it was beyond any comprehension of that era. Meaning it was so far in the future that he didn't have the frame of reference to grasp it. We also know that it was different than Nebuchadnezzar's dream in Daniel Chapter 2. Therefore, it cannot have the same interpretation. Stay tuned as we dig deep into the scripture and extract the meanings of these great verses! Daniel's Dream The End Times Prophecy - Part 2 of 14
Today we dive deeper into Daniel Chapter 7 and take a closer look at Daniel's dream. Remember that Daniel was a wise man. He was thought to be among the wisest in the kingdom and was gifted with the ability to interpret and understand dreams. The dream that Daniel writes about in Chapter 7 is one that he was greatly troubled by. He wasn't able to clearly understand or interpret it even though an interpretation was provided to him during the dream. This is no doubt because these events were beyond comprehension during that time. Meaning that they would not occur for generations. Make Plans And Know That They Happen Only If It Is God's Will
It is great to have plans for your life. God is a planner and you should be as well. God has everything planned down to the tiniest detail. Everything that happens is part of God's great plan and he will use everything for the good of those who love him. That being said, you can have plans for your life. However, it is very important to plan according to what God wants for your life. If you try to oppose him, things will not work out very well. It's also important to acknowledge that God is always in control and accept the fact that your plans may change. Remember, that everything happens according to God's plan and God's timing. Sometimes, you may want things to happen on your plan or your timing. When that happens, simply let go and let God. Jesus Died For You Alone So You Can Be Saved By Grace - Part 2 of 2
Remember that God gave His only son as a sacrifice for your sins. Now, think about what that meant for Jesus. He came to earth with a purpose. He was on a rescue mission. Jesus came to save YOU. He died for you. Jesus was willing to go through perhaps the most brutal form of execution in history. He was crucified and died so that you would be able to live in heaven. You have been given a gift of grace. One that you definitely don't deserve. None of us deserve it. Still, God gave it to us. Jesus died for us. The gift is yours. Accept it and share it with others. Get Out Of Your Own Way & Let God Take Control Of Your Life
You've heard it before - get out of your own way! It's very true. If life has you feeling overwhelmed then get out of your own way and allow God to take control of your life. You've no doubt heard the saying "Jesus take the wheel". However, have you lived it? Start living it. Allow God to take over your life. believe me, it will go so much better. The will of God will be done no matter what. You can resist and it will still happen. Or you can allow God to lead you and it will happen a lot more easily. Try And Try Again It Takes 10,000 Hours To Master A Skill
You know the saying: "practice makes perfect". The unfortunate truth is that we can never be perfect. Therefore, it should really say: "practice makes almost perfect". That being said, how much practice do we need to be "almost perfect"? A very common answer to this is 10,000 hours according to Malcolm Gladwell. That is a lot of time to spend working on learning a skill. However, there is a lot of truth to this. You spend 10,000 hours doing something and you're certainly going to become very good at it. Have you spent 10,000 hours learning about the Bible? What about 10,000 hours sharing Jesus with other people? We Don't Live As Long Today As They Did In The Bible Times - Part 5 of 7
Ever wonder why people lived to be so old back in the Old Testament? Well, it's because it is the "Old" Testament. Not really. The reason people, and animals like dinosaurs, lived to be so old and so large was because the world in which they lived was very different than the world in which we live today. The environment back then was much better suited to sustain human life. In addition, reptiles that never stop growing were given the opportunity to become very large! There are several reasons that we don't live as long nowadays. Check out this sermon to learn more! People Lived Longer In The Time Of Noah Before The Flood - Part 2 of 7
Ever wonder why people in the Bible lived to be so old? Methuselah, the oldest man recorded in the Bible was 969 years old! People back then lived a lot longer than they do today. The reason is that our world went through a catastrophic environmental change. This change ended long life for humans and animals like dinosaurs. After all, you don't see huge lizards walking around today as you would have 5,000 years ago. (Not a typo: our earth is young). Be Quick To Listen Slow To Speak And Willing To Help Others
Jesus spent his entire life helping other people. We need to be more like Jesus and use our time to help others as much as possible. There are a few steps that can make this process easier and James tells us about them. We need to be quick to listen to other people's requests. That doesn't mean responding right away. Sometimes, we need to be slow to speak and think about what the person is requesting. We can't always give in to every request, but we can at least listen to it and then pray about it to see if it is something God wants us to help with.
