This has been one of the hardest movies to review collectively from all of us at the Boundless PodTrap. Begotten is not the worst thing out there, and it is not the hardest thing to digest by subject matter, but the "language" this uses to convey its art has merits in creativity, it is just not our cup of tea. We like to give the director/writer E. Elias Merhige his due for taking risks and touching on the retelling of the Genesis story. The guy makes wicked awesome music videos but full length was hard, hence the 1 star BPT Rating. Many forums rave this movie and gleam so much from it which is pretty neat but thats probably the best part about this movie for some of us here at the BPT. Today’s movie is a horror/thriller flick by our friend, Dorothy Booraem. This movie from 2017, simply titled “Corruptor”. Dorothy is the writer and director of Corruptor which gave the boys of BPT a wonderful opportunity to actually pick the brain of the creator and get the insider perspective. Wassappen’n!!! We’ve got a descent one this time around. Things have been moving in the background of Boundless PodTrap preparing for more for Short e Films, if you know, you know. With that being said we’ll get into it. Lonnie kicks it off with a Embarrassing Question game ...with a twist. The boys were suppose to prepare some questions to ask each other primarily to see if they have the balls to answer. Obviously some of the stuff has to be edited out to avoid legal action.... We aren't monsters. Justin takes us over seas to practice his Deutsch. He scrounged through many a dictionaries to find those fun German words that are so amazingly thick with substance. The Germans have an excellent way of creating a word or compound word that defines something that takes much effort for english speakers to try to explain.   Jeremy loves Jeopardy. This Monday morning, The Boundless PodTrap presents to you our 1st sport flick "Division III: Football's Finest" starring Andy Dick, also starring the writer and director, Marshall Cook, and a good handfull of the best from MadTv. Being that this is a football movie and only 1/3rd of the BPT is a football fan, 4/3rd of the BPT are most surely comedy fans, as well as Andy Dick lovers. Wouldn't be comedy with out saying "dick lover". This film may not leave a lasting impression but it's definitely a hilarious and raunchy movie anyone with dark humor can enjoy. Quite a random episode, but aren't they all. Jeremy walks us through toys we loved as kids. Each of the hosts cast their favorite toys and the toys they always wanted but never had. Justin sort of curve balls by ditching his topic last minute to do a book review. A compelling book called House Of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski. Justin speaks about this new obsession, that resides in the time of a book. Stealing a line from said book “this seems ridiculous at first until one considered how the impact of such an implausible piece of reality could force anyone to question their own perceptions” (pg28). Another classic horror flick, A Nightmare On Elm Street. Curve ball episode, courtesy of Jeremy with 1990's Home Alone starring Macaulay Culkin. This was an easy (childhood) favorite by the Boundless PodTrap with a BPT Rating of 8.5.  Since it is the Holiday season, this has got to be one of the most agreeable classics. Some may say Christmas is about being trapped in a house with people attacking you on all sides... just lovely, isn't it? Justin drops the movie Lake Mungo, a movie guaranteed to leave you arduously unsettled. For a documentary style movie set in the middle of nowhere Australia, it is quite smartly busy. The Boundless PodTrap covers 2017's One Cut Of The Dead Does it feel like you've heard this one already? Yeah us too, probably because it was taken from BPT002 before we started an Official BPTMR, which stands for The Boundless PodTrap's Mother F^ckin Movie Review... plus or minus a few words. To date, this is our highest rated movie, even before we established the rating rules.. I mean cmon, look at the episode art, there's a frickin star rating right there, hit the double dig's, which is short for digits, which isn't short when I have to explain it. So we slapped an official cover art, intro, and outro on it so it would fit the BPTMR format. We got a few more that will come periodically after this, there's no telling when. With Jeremy's busy schedule and Paco threatening us all, we decided to give a quick throwback so the listeners could have at least something to look forward to. Onto the quick details, "One Cut of the Dead", a Japanese comedy-horror flick. It's a real tear jerker.
