The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine has been available since 2006, and physicians at The University of Kansas Cancer Center have encouraged our patients to get the vaccination. Men and women between the ages of 27 and 45, who didn’t get the vaccination as an adolescent, can also receive it.
