The End Of Year Ritual I Never Miss
Today, we consciously close the year together. Deep and real transformations can happen when we take the time to properly end the year that was. Let me be straight up, I’m not a big believer in New Year’s resolutions. What I AM passionate about is properly taking the time to really consciously close out a year to allow a fresh, new energy to generate. It’s like the end is also the beginning. I encourage you to receive this episode as an invitation to reflect and honor the journey you’ve been on this year before you start to create a container of dreams for what’s to come, guided by the whispers of your soul. If you need some encouragement on why or how to do this - this episode is for you. Plus I have a special offer for my Returners - so be sure to keep listening. “It’s so important to consciously and deliberately draw a line in the sand in order for a threshold to emerge and be crossed. Your Greatest Superpower with Tanya Hennessy
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In today's episode I'm returning with all round creative powerhouse, Tanya Hennessy. I’ve known Tanya for 20 years and have loved watching her follow her true passion and purpose. Beyond her skillful humor, she is deeply attuned to life. She’s someone who feels the world deeply and the brilliance of Tanya is how she shares herself and her observations with such generosity, vulnerability and relatability. It's Ok To Give Up On A Relationship

It's Ok To Give Up On A Relationship
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. Today, I'm giving you a permission slip - it's ok to give up on healing a relationship. Sometimes it's impossible to do the healing on behalf of other people - letting go is the healthiest choice we have. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on a poignant realization I’ve come to recently. It’s something that’s come up a lot and it’s around knowing when to let go of a relationship. It’s one of the most difficult things to do, to know when to loosen your grip and just accept the way things are versus following through on the way you can see them potentially growing into. But when the person on the other side of the constellation isn't doing the work, it's ok to walk away. So today's episode is for the cycle breakers. I acknowledge you and invite you to just go gently and pick your battles.  “It's okay to loosen your grip. It's okay to let go and surrender.” - Rebecca Campbell KEY TIMESTAMPS: 02:06 Opening Sacred Space. 02:36 How do you know when to give up on healing a relationship? 04:32 You can’t force change in others. 05:56 Perfection doesn’t necessarily mean healed. 06:15 Do your best and invite others you’re in relationship with to do that work. 07:00 It’s ok to loosen your grip. 07:35 Speak to them and send love to them spiritually rather than physically. 08:49 Today’s Soul Inquiry prompts.   MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Full Episode Transcript Podcast Episode: The Mysterious Timing of Healing Podcast Episode: Healing is Happening   CONNECT WITH REBECCA: Website - https://rebeccacampbell.me/practice/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/rebeccacampbell_author/ Facebook - https://web.facebook.com/rebeccacampbellauthor YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/RebeccaCampbell

The Mystic Always Rises
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In this episode, we invite the mystic to rise as we reclaim the ancient voice within. Today, we explore silenced truths with a reading of The Mystic Always Rises. This poem is an exploration of the ancient feminine voice that resonates deep within all of us. As I reflect on my own ancestry, healing journey, and reconnection to feminine power, I invite you to allow yourself to be seen and heard, trusting the inner wisdom that's within us all. "As each one of us allows ourselves to be seen, it makes it easier for the next one to do the same." - Rebecca Campbell   KEY TIMESTAMPS: 00:28: A Poem: The Mystic Always Rises 02:18: This poem is a reclamation of an ancient voice within me. 02:57: Allowing myself to share that unrestrained feminine force. 03:35: Retracing the steps of my ancestry.  05:04: The impact we have collectively by allowing ourselves to be seen. 06:14: Honoring the courageous work of generations of women that came before. 06:35: May the mystic within you always rise.   MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Full Episode Transcript Book: Rise Sister Rise by Rebecca Campbell Chant: Rise Sister Rise by Rebecca Campbell and Amy Firth on Spotify   CONNECT WITH REBECCA: Website - https://rebeccacampbell.me/practice/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/rebeccacampbell_author/ Facebook - https://web.facebook.com/rebeccacampbellauthor YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/RebeccaCampbell
Can We Take From Nature With Reverence?
Oct 10 2023
Can We Take From Nature With Reverence?
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In today's episode we get curious about the intersection of spirituality and sustainability: how can we get into right relationship with nature? This episode is in response to a beautiful Returner question submitted by Eric, but it actually created more questions within me: can we ever take from nature without leaving a negative impact? Does reverence and intention offset our environmental footprint? If we believe that we are part of nature, how do our choices and actions impact the wider seasons?  My hope is that by the end of this episode we all feel encouraged to re-evaluate our relationship with nature, as we explore new ways to honor the sacred in all things and make conscious choices that reflect the values we hold and future we believe in. “We are nature, we are not separate from it – and whilst we see first hand the devastating impact humans have when we abuse our power, I believe we can equally do so much good when we weave the sacred back into nature, back into life." - Rebecca Campbell   KEY TIMESTAMPS: 01:03 Opening Sacred Space. 01:44 Today’s listener question - how can we take from nature with reverence? 02:37 The answer will shift with the seasons, changing landscapes and evolution of society. 03:56 Seeing the sacred in all things. 05:34 Behaviors change when our consciousness changes. 08:41 Our disconnection from the miracles nature provides. 12:13 Teaching others about being in right relationship with nature. 15:04 Leaning into learning, unlearning and relearning. 18:46 Acknowledging everything nature gives us and brings us. 22:10 Deepening our connection at every stage of the journey. 24:38 Living in tune with the cycles and seasons of life. 26:45 Today’s Soul Inquiry prompts.   SOUL INQUIRY Soul Inquiry is a practice where we enter a direct dialogue with our inner self.  Today’s Soul Inquiry prompt is: How am I consciously or unconsciously taking from nature? How can I give back? Matrescence with Amy Taylor-Kabbaz

Matrescence with Amy Taylor-Kabbaz
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. Today, I'm returning with mindful mama, Amy Taylor-Kabbaz. I’ve been wanting to have THIS very conversation with her for years now and I’m so happy to be able to share it with you. Nothing can quite prepare you for the endless ways in which becoming a parent changes you. The transition from Maid to Mother is a profound rite of passage.  This episode is a deep dive into matrescence, a term often overlooked in our culture. Just as ‘adolescence’ heralds huge change in teenagers, matrescence refers to the profound changes of motherhood - not just the physical and hormonal changes but also the deep shifts within our identity, values, and beliefs. I love Amy's ability to articulate big concepts with generous simplicity and an undeniable passion. Whether you’re a parent yourself, longing to be or just looking to explore these lost rites of passage, this episode holds treasure for you. “Matrescence begins the moment you contemplate how motherhood might fit into your life.” - Amy Taylor-Kabbaz   KEY TIMESTAMPS: 02:05 Opening Sacred Space. 03:58 What is matrescence and why does it mean so much? 10:44 A word that encompasses all experiences as a mother. 12:51 The ‘inner split’ of who you used to be and the mother. 20:08 There is no official ‘end point’ of this experience. 21:38 The unseen life force that the mother expels. 26:43 Just like adolescence, matrescence heralds change. 32:20 Motherhood is what feminism forgot. 36:06 This will be the making of you. 39:35 The heavy layers of love towards a mother. 45:35 The constantly changing ways of returning to the wisdom within. 47:01 Today’s Soul Inquiry prompts.   SOUL INQUIRY Soul Inquiry is a practice where we enter a direct dialogue with our inner self.  Today’s Soul Inquiry prompt is: How are you being called to honor your matrescence or the matrescence for a mother in your life? Why A Triangle Tattoo?
Sep 26 2023
Why A Triangle Tattoo?
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In this episode, I'm sharing the story of how and why I got my triangle tattoo. My bestie, Amy Firth, joins me again as we relive the moment ten years ago when I called her early one morning and told her to meet me at a tattoo parlour... We also go deep into how and why the triangle features so strongly throughout my work. This episode encourages you to explore the symbols that hold meaning and insight for you too. I’ve found working with symbolism and myth is a really powerful way of deepening my connection to the wisdom within. Whilst researching and writing The Inner Temple Mystery School training, I learnt that in times where mystery schools were forbidden, symbols were used to represent the wisdom teachings. There’s so much they can reveal to us if we take the time to see… “The equilateral triangle is the most powerful shape there is. No matter how much pressure you put on it, it will not break because it draws its strength from within.” - Rebecca Campbell   KEY TIMESTAMPS: 01:01 Opening Sacred Space. 02:44 A period of great change. 05:26 The drama triangle. 06:30 The most powerful shape there is. 07:35 The story behind the triangle tattoo. 13:46 Future tattoo plans. 18:34 Today’s Soul Inquiry prompts. 19:51 The ‘hidden track’.   SOUL INQUIRY Soul Inquiry is a practice where we enter a direct dialogue with our inner self.  Today’s Soul Inquiry prompt is: If you were to get a tattoo, what would you get? How To Release Anger
Sep 12 2023
How To Release Anger
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In this episode we delve into the transformative power of anger. How can we use this energy to create rather than destroy? Today’s Returner question from Hannah is: how can we release rage in a positive, healthy way? It’s such a beautiful and important question. Anger isn’t just a raw, uncontrollable force; it’s often a reflection of what is truly important to us. It holds encoded within it our deepest passions and longings. Society often teaches us to suppress it, yet, when harnessed, anger can hold such potent wisdom. From a raw outburst from my husband to the rage I felt postpartum, I’ve witnessed the deep sacredness of this emotion. This episode uncovers the journey of listening, expressing, and transmuting anger into powerful creations. “Anger delivers clear information to us and it can be used to create incredible things in the world. If we are to consciously live, then the invitation is to try to understand that information and to embrace that energy and express it consciously.” - Rebecca Campbell   KEY TIMESTAMPS: 00:47 Opening Sacred Space. 01:35 Today’s listener question: How can we release rage in a positive, healthy, life-affirming way?  01:46: Rage is a reflection of what is important, our purpose and codes of our true passion. 03:13 Repression can distance us from our joy. 06:07: Finding a safe, conscious way for anger to be heard. 07:17: Flipping our understanding of this creative force.  09:02 Directing the energy from anger to birth something new. 09:39 My first hand experiences of moving big emotions out of me. 18:45 Connecting with our emotions through Inner Mystery School Training. 19:26 Tools to alchemize anger as the most holy work there is. 21:38 Today’s Soul Inquiry prompts.   SOUL INQUIRY Soul Inquiry is a practice where we enter a direct dialogue with our inner self.  Today's Soul Inquiry prompt is: What makes you furious, angry or full of rage?  How do you feel helpless, hopeless or powerless? What Is A Mystical Experience?

What Is A Mystical Experience?
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In today's episode we explore Mystical Experiences: what they are, what they aren't & how to know. Chances are you may have had one yourself – but perhaps just didn’t realise it. ‘Mystical Experiences’ may sound pretty ‘out there’ or spooky or like an episode of the X-Files but rest assured, a mystical experience may be different to what you think. What if I told you that a 2009 survey found that almost 50% of Americans said they have had a mystical experience. Whilst some mystical experiences may be utterly show-stopping and life-changing – they can also be subtle, subliminal and gentle. This episode is a short introduction to mystical experiences, offering some some examples from my own life and others… I’m excited to see what it stirs up in you. “Mystical Experiences are not just profound moments of connection; they are doorways into understanding ourselves and the greater universe.” - Rebecca Campbell   KEY TIMESTAMPS: 01:31 Opening Sacred Space. 03:30 Is a mystical experience different from a spiritual awakening? 07:57 Mystical experiences in nature. 09:08 Mystical experiences through the portal of death. 10:39 Mystical experiences through meditation. 12:04 Collective mystical experiences and energy. 14:00 My first mystical experience. 16:43 My energetic awakening. 16:46 The most sacred moment of my life. 18:00 The most physical and transcendent experience of my life. 19:49 An invitation to receive your mystical experiences in the future more fully. 21:41 Today’s Soul Inquiry prompts.   SOUL INQUIRY Soul Inquiry is a practice where we enter a direct dialogue with our inner self.  Today’s Soul Inquiry prompt is: Have you had a Mystical Experience?  What did it shift in you? My Kids Have Different Mums
Welcome to another episode of Returning: A podcast to return to yourself and the wisdom within. In this episode we explore the ever-changing nature of life and relationships.
