This is 6385 weeks.Does hearing 4000 weeks change the way you think about your life?Does it feel short?Or maybe it feels long.For many, it can bring on a sense of panic...Am I wasting time?Am I doing the right things?What do I really want to do?I loved the author’s take on it.We are time.Each of us inseparable from time. 191 – Is it right to start rent to rent right now in a recession? I speak to many people and this question keeps coming up.I’m going to break it down for you. If we agree that there is an economic slowdown hitting many, what does that mean for rent to rent? Firstly, when there’s a recession, there’s always massive opportunity to increase your wealth. If you do what the masses are doing, you get what the masses are getting. And in this time, many people are facing - financial worries, lack of control, uncertainty about your job and your mortgage or rent costs because really thing seems to be going up.Now is definitely the time to start a side hustle.A side hustle is another source of income. Every source of income you have makes you more resilient, which makes you more powerful and gives you more freedom.Before I started in rent to rent, I had one source of income - my job. If that went, that was 100% of my income gone.But in the past 7 years that has totally changes - now I have:Income from our rent to rent business.Income from our owned property portfolio.Income from our mentoring business.Income from our coaching business.Income from stocks and shares.Ask yourself, do you really want to make change and get started in rent to rent?Go ahead and take all new information and ask the ultimate authority, the one who has your best interests at heart, the one who knows you inside out. 188 –  Do you think you can afford to get started in rent to rent? This is a question I get asked a LOT!But I like to ask the question in a different way...  Can you afford not to start?👍 If you know you are meant to get started in property. 👍 If you know you are meant to make money outside of your job. 👍 If you know you are meant to buy assets that work for you while you rest. 👍 If you know you’re meant to leave a legacy.Then you know you can’t afford not to start.There’s certain spending that we make non-negotiable like, rent or mortgage and utility bills. Then we have the things we choose to buy. Many of us have smart phones which cost £500-£1,000 - years ago we’d never imagine spending that amount on a smart phone. But now it feels essential.You invest in the things that are important to you. If business is important to you, if freedom is important to you, if assets are important to you. Make it important.
