The following is an interview with Olga and Oleg Kondratenko. They were both born and raised in Kharkiv. They built their family in Kharkiv together as well. In this chat, Olga and Oleg open a window into the horrors experienced by the people of Kharkiv during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
They were fortunate enough to escape with their young daughter to a city in the western part of Ukraine. Olga and Oleg share what it was like to live through these horrors and the aftermath of leaving everything behind. This is their survivor story.
