So, let's get started.Defining Boundaries and Why They’re Important Let's start by understanding what boundaries are. Boundaries are the invisible lines we draw around ourselves to protect our physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. They’re the invisible lines that define where we end and where others begin. They protect us, ensuring we're not violated or manipulated. Boundaries are not these Imaginary walls we throw up to self-protect; but they're gates that allow us the freedom to choose who, what, when, where and why people can come in and out of our lives. ConclusionIn conclusion, setting healthy boundaries can be tough, but it’s vital for our overall wellbeing and the quality of our relationships. By understanding the different types of boundaries, how to address common rebuttals,  and how to communicate our needs and wants in relationships, we can be confident in asserting ourselves so that we can cultivate healthier connections. From our human evolution of living in tight-knit communities, our survival depended not just on the skill of hunting and gathering, but also including our survival of cooperating with one another in order to survive.  The study of linguistics, anthropology, psychology, and of course neuroscience reminds of this simple truth conceptualized by “mirror neurons.”For a quick overview of these four feel good hormones, Let’s start with dopamine, the reward hormone, which drives our motivation and pleasure. Serotonin contributes to our mood and sense of well-being. Endorphins, the body's natural painkillers and stress relievers, bring about a euphoric state.
