Spend a few minutes with your family thinking about how God speaks peace to His people. Big God on His throne is speaking to us, and out of His mouth comes peace. It’s like He’s telling you, “trust me, it’s going to be ok. I’m here with you.”

God is peace, and He speaks peace to His people.

Sometimes God whispers to us just like He whispered to Elijah, but we need to be still and listen so we can hear God.

Verses:

Let me hear what God the LORD will speak,

For he will speak peace to his people,

To his saints, but let them not turn back to folly.

Psalm 85:8

And he said, “Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.  And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper.  And when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And behold, there came a voice to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
