Greg Stephens is a leading practitioner in music and copyright law, and has experience in film, television, animation, Internet and new media matters. Intellectual property protection (trade-mark and copyright), book publishing and fine arts are other areas of interest and experience. Corporate / Commercial work for creative clients and Wills and Estates work rounds out the practice.Greg is a frequent panelist and speaker at workshops and music industry conferences and frequently attends the annual international MIDEM music conference in Cannes, France.Greg has served on the boards of the Songwriters Association of Canada, the Canadian Independent Recording Artists’ Association and Toronto Artscape, and has been a part-time professor at the Music Management Program at Durham College.Greg is a former songwriter and professional musician who signed with a Canadian independent record label and then with Capitol Records in the 1980's. He wrote, sang and performed on albums and toured with several well-known pop groups of the time.Over his 40 yr music career, Tom Treumuth worked as a talent scout for RCA (USA) including working closely with Gene Simmons. His Hypnotic label released over 100 albums via A&M/Universal. Tom also ran a recording studio, did artist management/bookings and he produced over 60 albums with 8 achieving Gold and Platinum awards ( Honeymoon Suite, Helix, Big Sugar). More recently Tom was Co Managing Director of indie label Frostbyte (Universal) . His career started as a musician in True Myth who recorded the world's 1st digital rock album.Co -host Andrew Schalk a chef and a self professed music junkie.
