61. In Uber Danger (MURDERER: Nathaniel Rowland)
Send us a textOn today's episode of LOTW, Becky and Bevy discuss the murder of Samantha Josephson. In March of 2019, Samantha Josephson went out with her friends to let their hair down and celebrate all their hard work in the previous months preparing for graduation. They all had a wonderful time, but Samantha left early to get a good night's rest before her scheduled shift at work the next day. She called an Uber and waited outside the bar she and her friends were at. Soon after, a black car pulls up in front of her, and she is seen on CCTV getting in the car. However, when her friends and boyfriend can't locate her the following day and notice that her Uber had been cancelled and her last know location was in the opposite direction of her home, they become very scared for her well-being. 58. Crossbow Cannibal (MURDERER: Stephen Griffiths)
Send us a textOn today's episode of LOTW, Becky and Bevy discuss the murders of Susan Rushworth, Shelley Armitage and Suzanne Blamires. Stephen Griffith was someone who on the outside looking in seemed to have his life in order. He was even pursuing a PhD in criminology at Bradford University. However, despite his academic success, in the comfort of his own home Stephen was pursuing violent and sadistic interests and hobbies. In his early years, Stephen was troubled. He even spent 3 years in a youth detention center for stabbing someone. Eventually, Stephen was diagnosed as a sadistic, schizoid psychopath, and even though he was working towards a PhD, between the year 2009 and 2010, the darker side of Stephen would prevail, and a CCTV camera would catch Stephen in the act of a violent and horrific crime. Case Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradford_murders, https://murderpedia.org/male.G/g/griffiths-stephen.htm, https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/18622342/who-cannibal-stephen-griffiths-where-now/, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_history_of_the_United_Kingdom, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misanthropy, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dewsbury, https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-bradford-west-yorkshire, https://www.oxygen.com/living-with-a-serial-killer/crime-news/serial-killer-stephen-griffiths, https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/antisocial-behaviour-orders-asbos Support the showSupport us @ buymeacoffee.com/luminolont5Instagram @luminolonthewallEmail: luminolonthewall@gmail.comFacebook: Luminol on the Wall

53. Baby Killer - Part 2 (MURDERER: Jennifer Rosenbaum)
Send us a textThis week on LOTW Becky and Bevy discuss part 2 of the Laila Daniel case and begin to discuss her murder. In 2015, Laila Daniel celebrated her second birthday while her older sister, Millie, turned four. The sisters found themselves under the care of a loving foster family as their biological mom was working to get sober. Known for their dedication and adherence to state regulations, the foster parents were a trusted and safe place for the girls. However, a concerning pattern emerged when an old family friend of the girls' biological mother entered the scene. After visits with this individual, Laila and Millie returned home bearing unexplained bruises. Despite these red flags, many of the incidents were overlooked, highlighting a lapse in oversight by the girls' caseworker. Tragically, the situation escalated when one of the girls suffered a severe injury, prompting suspicions of something far more sinister at play.case sources: https://www.ajc.com/news/crime--law, https://www.henryherald.com, https://www.americanbar.org, https://lawandcrime.com, https://study.com, https://www.dignitymemorial.com,https://my.clevelandclinic.org, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oJBlPkQCMQ, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ4YtWCOnSw, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCCufBBWLvsSupport the showSupport us @ buymeacoffee.com/luminolont5Instagram @luminolonthewallEmail: luminolonthewall@gmail.comFacebook: Luminol on the Wall
