He even spent 3 years in a youth detention center for stabbing someone. The house was ransacked, and it appeared that a pretty violent attack and intense struggle had taken place. There were a couple of pieces of evidence that stood out to detectives. One being that Sherri and her husband John's marriage certificate was the only thing besides the couple's car that had been taken. Another piece of evidence that stood out to detectives was a bite mark on Sherri's hand.
