Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving

Just Sleep - Bedtime Stories for Adults

Jul 17 2022 • 41 mins

Tonight's bedtime story is Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving. Published in 1819 in a collection of stories called "The Sketchbook of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent.", it is the story of a farmer that heads to the mountains to avoid his wife. He meets strangely dressed, odd-looking men along the way. Should he partake in the liquor in their flagon? Methinks not.
