In 1939 a beautiful enameled heirloom menorah was looted by the Nazis, stolen from its young Jewish owner, Aurora.
Eighty years later, Aurora’s daughters Zara and Lilly are haunted by their mother’s buried memories after discovering the family menorah in a New York museum.
The sisters scheme to get it back but it disappears, leaving a trail of murder and mayhem behind it. Turns out Aurora’s memories are very much alive, and her secrets can bind the sisters together or tear them apart.
