JOSH FUNK, DPT   //   IG: @rehab2perform   //   TW: @Rehab2PerformFounder / CEO - Rehab2PerformA lifelong athlete, Josh became interested in becoming a physical therapist when going through PT as a D1 lacrosse player at Ohio State. After avoiding shoulder surgery for a torn labrum and rotator cuff, Josh has been entrenched in the world of physical therapy and sports performance. Over the years, he has continually developed his knowledge base and expertise as a physical therapist through continuing education courses and working with athletes of all ages. A Montgomery County resident, Josh is heavily involved in all areas of the community throughout the region.Dr. Josh Funk was born and raised in Montgomery County, MD and attended Poolesville High School. Josh went on to play Division 1 lacrosse and earn a B.S. degree from The Ohio State University before earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Maryland-Baltimore. It was a little over 3 years after graduating from Maryland, that Rehab 2 Perform was founded in late 2014.In addition to his physical therapy expertise, Dr. Funk has been equally, if not more committed to the growth of his role as CEO of Rehab 2 Perform. He has made sure that his personal development is not just reserved for the clinical side of things, but also to ensuring that Rehab 2 Perform is one of the most well-run and well-known health care companies in the area. Dr. Funk has immersed himself in business programs and community initiatives over the past few years in his efforts to ensure that the team and clients of Rehab 2 Perform are receiving everything they need to be at their best. It is his goal to push Rehab 2 Perform to the forefront of the community through innovation, progressive business operations, strategic growth and clinical excellence.

Follow Navy Women's LacrosseIG: @navywlaxTW: @NavyWLaxBrooke Shriver joined the Navy women’s lacrosse program as the associate head coach in August of 2021. In her role, Shriver works with the Midshipmen’s offense and midfielders, as well as having an active role in recruiting. Prior to joining the Navy women’s lacrosse staff, Shriver was an assistant athletic director and varsity lacrosse coach for the Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore, Md. She helped the Mawrtians to a 21-17 overall record in four seasons, which included a shortened season due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Shriver served as a scheduling coordinator for all sports. She scheduled all games for all teams, as well as organized and planned athletic-wide events, including NLI Signing Day, sports assemblies and spirit days. Shriver also ran a leadership program for team captains of every sport and led discussions on ways to improve leadership. Shriver served as an assistant coach for the USA U-19 Women’s Lacrosse Team (2018-19), helping the U.S. win the gold medal at the 2019 World Cup Championship in Peterborough, Ontario. Shriver primarily coached the defense and assisted with scouting and film breakdown sessions. Shriver worked as an assistant coach at Penn State for five years (2012-17). She helped lead the team to an overall record of 71-31 with five NCAA Tournament appearances, including four NCAA Quarterfinals (2013, ’15, ’16, ’17) and a pair of Final Fours (2016, ’17). Penn State won the 2015 B1G Tournament Championship, while earning a share of the American Lacrosse Conference (ALC) regular-season title and reaching the ALC Tournament semifinal game in 2013.Collegiately, Shriver was a four-year starting midfielder for Northwestern (2008-11). She was a part of 85 wins, three national championships (2008, ‘09, ‘11) and four American Lacrosse Conference titles (2008, ’09, ’10, ’11). She finished her career with 106 points (88 goals, 18 assists), including a career-high 32 (25 goals, 7 assists) in her senior season, 74 ground balls, 34 draw controls and 18 caused turnovers. Appearing in four-consecutive NCAA Championship contests, Shriver totaled 14 goals in 16 NCAA postseason games. Also an excellent student, Shriver was a three-time ALC Academic Honor Roll and Academic All-Big Ten honoree, and a two-time recipient of the Big Ten Distinguished Honors Scholar Award (2009, ’10).

Deemer is widely regarded as one of the best outside shooters in lacrosse, and has developed a reputation for coaching offensive techniques from shooting, dodging and re-dodging, stick work, IQ and offensive sets. Coach Class attended Loyola Blakefield, where he helped lead Loyola to a MIAA championship game appearance and was a 2x USL All American and Under Armour all American.Coach Class is sponsored by East Coast Dyes, a Baltimore based company that he signed with in June of 2016.Deemer began his coaching career helping run the men’s offense at McDonogh school (Baltimore, MD), and ran player development. Coach worked with over 20 current and future D1 players at the time.Coach went on to become the Women’s Offensive Coordinator at the University of Southern California, a D1 program. In his 3 seasons, Coach Class was a part of 1 Pac 12 Championship team, ranked as high as #7 in the country, and coach of 2 Pac 12 Midfielders of the Year.Coach has built FCL into a trusted resource in lacrosse, from drills and concepts being used from college & pro coaches, down to numerous clubs and programs nationwide. Class has run training in over 35 states and for programs such as Crabs, FCA, 91 Lacrosse, Alcatraz Outlaws, Team Carolina, Alcatraz Outlaws, Ironhorse, Highland Park, Maddog, Taft Schooland more. FCL has also run virtual webinars for players in Germany, Italy and Japan, expanding the global reach. In 2021, Coach Class started the Best In Class recruiting and training events, quickly becoming one of the most coveted events in the space. FCL will continue to grow its presence in the lacrosse community.
