God Teaches Us To Worship | God, Family, Us - Exodus 24-28
Exodus 24-28 explains the elements of worship in the ancient tabernacle, a place designed as the dwelling place of God. It is, for all practical purposes, what we would call the church today. God's command to have His people set up the tabernacle teaches us that He wants to have a relationship with us no matter what we are going through. We do not have to wait until we reach our destination to begin to worship. We worship God where we are and begin where we are, even if we are on the road to a better place of recovery. Grab your Bible and join us as we continue our exploration of the Book of Exodus and discover how God teaches us to worship, even in the inbetween seasons of our life.   About This Series God, Family, Us - Exodus is an original sermon series recorded live at Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Georgetown, Indiana. God is First | God, Family, Us - Exodus 11 - 13
Examining the plague of the firstborn, recodred in the Book of Exodus, reveals the power and supremacy of God. However, it is especially terrifying and challenging. In order to more completely understand, we have to try and get into the mind of the Egyptian culture and how it is a judgement against their attempts to deny and reject God. The human obsession with kingdom building connects to several biblical principles, including the giving of first fruits. An idea that ultimately points us to Jesus Christ, "the firstborn of the dead." Grab your Bible and join us as we explore what it means to put God first in our lives… and, importantly, how does it change the way we live?   About This Series God, Family, Us - Exodus is an original sermon series recorded live at Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Georgetown, Indiana.
