Ep. 32: Utah gets triggered - Rep. Karianne Lisonbee on Utah’s abortion trigger law

In 2020, SB174 was passed by the Utah legislature and signed into law by the governor. This legislation outlined a trigger law that would make elective abortion illegal in Utah if and when the US Supreme Court overturned its 1973 ruling on Roe v. Wade. Well, that happened and Rep. Karianne Lisonbee, the floor sponsor of the bill, has gotten more than an earful from Utahns and people outside of Utah about it.
