Expand that list.  Do research to find all companies that you don’t know about.  This can be done with extensive LinkedIn and Google searches using the proper keywords and industry phrases.  However, the easiest way is to use their company code with the IRS.  You will find that if you make a list of 10 companies, most of them will share the same industry code with the IRS.  That’s why we use software to build out that list and find every company in the same or similar category.  It’s an invaluable tool. Build a working list of 20 companies (you can’t work more than 20 effectively at a time).  As you exhaust efforts on a company, replace it with the next company from your master list.  Connect with key decision makers at each company.  Once again, you can spend time researching each company to find key decision makers.  It is certainly worth the effort, but it is time consuming.  That’s why with our software, we not only give our clients company names, but also the names and contact information for key decision makers inside of each company. ============================================== Chris Kirkpatrick www.CareerNextAgency.com Facebook: Facebook.com/CareerNextAgency https://youtu.be/kKziwC6m32s Executive Job Search Secrets Podcast:  What To Do When Your Network Is Exhausted Learn more about your ad choices. Are you selling your ability to build a team? To double sales? To reign in costs? To reorganize and/or streamline a department, division, or company? To increase profits? To implement new technology? To open up locations or operations in new cities or countries? To develop and implement new strategic plans or direction? To create better communication and cooperation between divisions? To improve their core business? To expand into new markets? To create new product lines? Remember, ultimately what you are selling is your ability to solve a company’s problems—even the problems they don’t know they have. Come up with a list of three or four “core competencies” that you have successfully demonstrated and that you enjoy using. ============================================== Chris Kirkpatrick www.CareerNextAgency.com Facebook: Facebook.com/CareerNextAgency https://youtu.be/bfcblGZ4aSE Executive Job Search Secrets Podcast:  Know What You Are Selling Learn more about your ad choices.
