For years now, I've heard about and wanted to start doing some Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I always knew it would be outside my comfort zone, but being a beginner at this kind of practice is exactly what I was looking for. When I found out someone was offering BJJ courses right here at the Hive in Sai Kung, I thought how perfect!

As soon as I met Jonathan, I could hear right away the warmth and slow pace of the South – my guess of somewhere in Georgia hit the spot. A few times a week, I began training with the few guys here doing what is the key to the BJJ experience. A whole, total, complete workout, where you spend your time learning the techniques and complexities of this insane martial art.

"Hey dude," I said, because at this place and time at least, it's a dude's arena, "you know what I would just love? To get someone who does BJJ onto my podcast."

Jonathan gave me his easy smile, shrugged his shoulders, and said, "sure thing man. I'll record with you."

And here it is. Actually, if you pay attention and enter his world, you're going to be moved.
