Kim speaks with Ashley Brewer who has lived through the unthinkable.  Cornelius John Brewer, Baby Case, was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and given a 50% chance to live to see his second birthday.  It's a story that includes grief, loss, tragedy, and hope.  Ashley Brewer has transformed her life's journey into one of community outreach and connection with It Could've Been Me.org.  This podcast will discuss subjects of death, alcohol abuse, and self-harm.
