"Is he just dumb or is it something deeper?"
Depression is a serious issue that many people face, but don't often talk about. For men, depression can be especially difficult to deal with due to societal expectations. Journaling and talking to trusted friends or counselors can be helpful in managing depression. In this episode, you will learn the following: 1. Depression is often misunderstood and carries a negative stigma. 2. Depression can be caused by a variety of factors, not just one event or situation. 3. Depression can be helped by journaling, talking to friends or a therapist, and participating in poetry or other forms of art.
