Today, I have the pleasure of hosting Jonathan D. Lovitz in studio, a prominent advocate with a diverse background. He has run the gamet from the Entertainment sphere to journalism to local and national advocate and I have been following his career for many years and was so happy to see him named as one of Out Magazine’s Out 100 this year as an Educator for his work in our lgbtq and corporate communities. Jonathan, spent the better part of a decade working for the National lgbtq Chamber of Commerce, Ran for Representative in Pennsylvania, founded his own company and became A senior adviser and director of public affairs at the U.S. Economic Development Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce for the Biden/Harris administration, while doing it all loudly and proudly as an out gay man, proud union member, and dedicated husband, and has left an indelible mark on LGBTQ activism. Jonathan's journey is a testament to the intersection of queer pride, advocacy and political impact. Left of Str8 Show: The Queen Sir Jet Interview Singer, Songwriter, Model
Hello there, I appreciate you, him, her, they and all of our pronouns after national coming out month. I am your host as always, Scott Fullerton and welcome back to the Left of Str8 Show, where I have the priviledge of interviewing celebrities and personalities from the areas of Entertainment, Foodies, Books, Music and Advocacy of interest to our LGBTQ Community and our Straight Allies. Today we are talking music with my special guest Queen Sir Jet! Sir JET is an American queer pop artist, known for her mixture of the masculine and the feminine. She has new music out now and I can’t wait to talk to her all about it. The “Sir” in his name is a reference to being “everyone’s knight in shining armor” along with the “JET” being his initials. JET, is a former agoraphobic mute, and began singing in an attempt to reclaim her voice. It was from there she began not only forming an interest in pursuing a singing career, but also a journey of fitness and interest in the male body itself. As she explains in many of her popular Youtube vlogs, the male body can be adorned with anything that makes one feel beautiful, including clothing originally designed for women. I can’t wait to share this unique story and amazing new music with you, so please welcome to the show for the very first time, Queen Sir, JETBe sure to check out my guest’s Website at: www.alexringler.com and you can find them on Social Media here: @alexringler on Instagram and @alexringler0 on Tik Tok.
