Montreal Canadiens announced the addition of four new team ambassadors: Guy Carbonneau, Vincent Damphousse, Patrice Brisebois and Chris Nilan. Canadiens selected forward Juraj Slafkovsky with the first overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The Montreal Canadiens traded defenceman Alexander Romanov to the New York Islanders and acquired forward Kirby Dach from the Chicago Blackhawks. Habs prospect report - Laval Rocket signed forward Danick Martel to a one-year, one-way AHL contract. Rocket signed forward Brandon Gignac to a two-year, one-way AHL contract. Annual development camp will be held from July 10 to 13th at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.
