Children were brought to Jesus Christ to be touched when He was on earth, today, parents still have the responsibility to bring children to Christ. Christ arms are still wide open to receive our children, provided we are intentional in bringing them.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. The bible instruct us as parents to begin the training of our children early and grounded in the Holy Scriptures.

Having our children's faith and religion established on us or ours is one of the mistakes we can make in parenting. It is essential we train our children to have a direct connection and communication line with God. In this episode, we looked at the topic of puppet parenting using the example of Joash and Jehoiada.

In this episode, we examined the precepts of godly instruction according to the instruction God gave to the children of Israel in Deuteronomy chapter 6:6-9.

God is our Father, but what can we learn from God's fathering of mankind. In this episode, we looked at Galatians 4:1-7.

The world within which our children are growing or will grow is/would be vastly different from the one in which many of us grew/are growing. As Christian parents, training our kids must be founded on the word of God and principles of God which are unchanging. Basing training solely on external rights and rules will not stand the test of time, but will only raise young Christians that would be swept off their feet as the world changes.

Our primary priority as Christian parents is to raise our children to become more like Jesus, glorifying God in the world, radiating His light for the world to see. It was made clear that any priority placed above the glory of God is a misplaced priority.

Every child comes with the capability to become any thing. When left alone, they go one way or the other, based on whatever they get exposed to. As Christian parents and guardians, God has placed in our hands these kids to tailor, train, bring up and govern in the way they should go.

As parents: We should not raise our children for our glory, it amounts to robbery, we must seek the glory of God in all things. We cannot afford to do it own way, we are servants, we must seek to know the mind of our master, the owner of the kids, in raising them

Parenting is not a social status, for we as believers we are in the service of the Lord, a noble calling to raise the sons and daughters of God, children who are fit for purpose of God on earth, who know their creator and are committed to His will. They are such who will be strong and do exploits being led by the Spirit of God.

Every child we have as Christians is a privileged gift from God, and you have a responsibility as a Christian parent or guardian to bring up for God, to fulfil the purpose of God on earth and to ultimately live with God in eternity
