About Liz Nugent

Liz is the author of four highly successful novels: Unravelling Oliver, Lying in Wait, Skin Deep and Our Little Cruelties.  From the outset her work has attracted numerous awards.  At the Irish Book Awards she has twice won both the Crime Fiction award and RTE Radio 1’s The Ryan Tubridy Show Listeners’ Choice Award.  She has been Writer-in-Residence at the Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco and at the Irish Cultural Centre in Paris. In 2017 Liz was awarded The Woman of the Year Award for Literature.

Liz will discuss Our Little Cruelties which is one of The New York Times recommended best books for 2020.

About Anne Flaherty

A journalist born in London and growing up in County Clare, Anne has worked for The Irish Press in Dublin and The Irish Times in Belfast as well as reporting from  Africa and Asia.  She is a graduate of  Trinity College Dublin, and holds an MA in Anglo-Irish Writing from Queen’s University Belfast and an MA in Children’s  Literature from the University of Surrey.
