What is there left to discover in this world? Suprisingly a lot. There is so much that we don't know or that we thought we knew but turns out to be wrong. In Ecclesiastes 11 the Teacher encourages to live life now. Don't put off what can be done now. And in this we discover that Jesus has so much to show us about who He is and what God (himself) is like.

What is common sense? In Ecclesiastes 10 we will look at some common sense quotes that remind us that common sense is not all that we need in life. We need wisdom that comes only from God!

In Ecclesiastes 8 we discover a perspective shift from earthly things to God. This shift is rooted in the fear of the Lord and discovering wisdom that starts there. Wisdom to see God's kingdom all around us.

Do we assume that prosperity equals good and adversity means evil? These are the big questiosn that are tackled in Chapter 6 and 7 of Ecclesiastes. So, let's dive in and see what conclusions we can come to in the light of who Jesus is.

How do you approach life or the abilities and things that you have in it? Is it a gift or a burden? As we journey into Ecclesiastes 3 we discover that there is a time for everything in life and that God is in control of all of it. That it is a gift from him to be recieved as we go through with God.

How we recieve what we have sets the stage of our worship. God has gifted us abilities and oppertunities, as well as challanges and obsticles. as we walk through this life how we respond to it all can be an act of worship to God or an act of sin. That really plays into it being meaningless or not. Take a walk with God and discover that worshipful thankfulness brings meaning into everyday life. Ecc 2:12-26

This week we study Ecc 1:12-2:11. How do we have a fulfilling life and what may be stopping us. Plus we chat about Hurt by Johnny Cash and music that reflects Ecclesiastes to us. We end up focusing on Jesus who provides a way forward for us to have lives full of meaning and fulfillment.

This week we jump into Ecclesiastes 1:1-11. Is it all meaningless or is their a greater purpose to life that the Teacher is trying to impart to us in Ecclesiastes? We take a look at where we find meaning and what lasts and why the cycle of life is a revelation in itself. We deep ive into the word Hevel (hebel) that we translate into meaningless and vanity. We discover that the Teacher the author of Ecclesiastes wants to convey the sense that there are a lot of questions in life that we can't find in the regular things around us.

Here we go into the Book of Ecclesiastes! A book that helps us to discover that there are a lot of unanswered questions in life but that should not make us hopeless but hopefull in the one who knows the answers. In this sermon the big take away that this book should be read and studied as a whole text since it has a summary and final point at the end. But we are not going to do that. Also we chat about the structure and Qoheleth the author or "speaker to the assembled." so lets jump into the overview of Ecclesiastes.

How do we respond to the love of God? And once we respond what happens next? This week we look into Zecharias' response to God's love in his life recorded in Luke 1:67-80. He sings and declares God's goodness and prophecies about the coming Messiah and the work of his son John. We see the follow up to responding to God's love in John's life as he speaks and teaches about repentance. Merry Christmas God loves you!

Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Past Present and Future. What did this mean to the people of Jesus day under the Roman rule of Caesar Augustus? What does it mean for us today? Do we try and find peace in our devices, in our politices, or in our lifestyles before Jesus? Let's take a moment to be reminded of the true peace that we have in Jesus regardless of our cirumstances. Luke 2:1-4

The difference between hope and optomism is that optomism is focused on trying to see good in our circumstance and hope is looking beyond our circumstance to an unshackable future. Biblical hope finds its unshakable future in God. In the incarnation of Jesus. Jesus is our Hope. Take a listen and come along for a discussion on how God binds us to himself with the Hope Rope that is extended to us in Jesus Christ. Scripture is Luke 1:1-4 and 26-45

How do we live in the light of Jesus Christ. There is no shadow in him and there can be no sin in his presence so how do we live in a fallen world while being in the light of Christ? Even more than that how do we testify to what we have seen in the light to a world of darkness? This week we jump off of John 1:1-18 and dive into 1 John 1 to chat about the kingdom cycle of Reveal, Repent, and Restore. Come along with us as we discuss how this is the cirle of relationship with God in Jesus has He makes us holy as He is Holy. We even touch back into our other texts from the I Am Series. Exodus 3, Isaiah 6 and 40 and Romans 8.

Through this series we have been discovering that God is knowable. That God has revealed Himself to His creation and invited us into a redeemptive story of grace. This all culminates and crushendoes in Jesus Christ. This week we jump into John 1:1-18 and discover that Jesus is the eternal Word the Light that is Life and the completest theophany of God.

Romans 8 starts with No Condemnation and ends with No Seperation for those who are IN Christ Jesus. A very encouraging chapter that shouts about the soverignty of God and that he has a plan that He provides and provisions us for. We call this plan Predestination and in this sermon there is an analogy of a Gondola that is used to help explain Predestination.

This week in our I AM series we are in Isaiah 40. Maybe one of the most encouraging chapters in the whole of the Bible here we are told of God's care for us. That he is Omnipresent. He knows the names of the stars and care about the things that you are faceing. We talk about what it means to Soar, Run and Walk at the end of the chapter. So, welcome and may you be blessed with a bigger vision of who God is!

This week we look at the vision of the LORD that Isaiah has recorded in Isaiah 6:1-8. We discover that God is "Holy, Holy, Holy" what does this mean and why is it repeated three times? We also talk abut Isaiah's response "Woe is me" on seeing God's Holiness and Glory. But Lo God has atonement for Isaiah and has a Go for Isaiah to participate in.

"What is God like?" How would you answer this question is someone asked it of you? Over the next 5 weeks we are going to look in the Bible and see how God would answer this question. That's right God has already told us what he is like. He has come close to His creation and revealed Himself to us. Did you miss that? The God of creation and the Lord of all has revealed all that we can know about Himself already. So, open your Bible to Ex 3:1-15 and learn with us as we look into the name of God, "I AM who I AM."

This week we dove into Acts 8:26-40. Looking how Philip respecfully engaged in the life of the Ethiopian Eunuch. Philip Listened to Holy Spirit. He Looked for the oppertunities as he went to the wilderness. He Listened to what was going on in the Ethiopian's life. Then Philip Asked a question and the Ethiopian invited him in to Share. God wanted to say somthing to the Ethiopian and Philip was the ready witness who shared the Gospel of Jesus with him.
